The Fashion Plate is a true destination! They have home goods ranging from current holiday decor to antiques. The clothing and accessories section is expansive and curated with precision. All garments are clean and in like-new condition. They have designer items from brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Lanvin, Burberry, and Versace. Beyond designer they had a lot of J. Crew, Vineyard Vines, Eileen Fisher, and Soft Surroundings to name a few. Situated in the Deerfield Valley in the heart of ski country they also specialize in vintage skiwear from Bogner and current items from Patagonia, Moncler, North Face, and more. They carry staples such as pajamas, lingerie (new), bathing suits, and athletic/leisure wear. There is truly something for everyone as they carry clothing for infants and children—in addition to the well-stocked men’s section. They offer an impressive selection of vintage clothing and a full range of extended sizes.

Kathy is a legend in southern vt (yes, my parents did know you!) and her collection here is equally impressive. If for no other reason, you should stop by to see her slice of history restored, but I doubt you won’t fall in love with something you will desperately NEED! ❤️

I will never go back ! I did not feel welcomed and the lady in the furniture section was down right rude . Spotted a few things that I wanted to buy . They will not get a dime from me .

Interesting and ever changing collection. You never know what you'll find. Supports the concept of reuse. Recommended!

I have shopped the fashion plate numerous times and have purchased everything from holiday decor, home goods, and clothing. I must say they have some really great items, something for everyone. If you are in the area definitely stop in. Great stuff!

FANTASTIC CONGINMENT SHOP! They have some awesome vintage as well as plenty of contemporary clothing. 'Gorgeous shoes and handbags as well...and a men's section with incredibly reasonable pirces. I bought several new Vera Bradley bags for a fraction of the retail cost, and an exquisite Escada leather bag that still had a price tag of $598.00 - for about $100.00. Kathy and Suzie are wonderful. This is a "must stop" if you are ever in Wilmington.

I was in Vermont for a wedding and decided to walk around the village of Wilmington. The town is quaint and has all the charm you would expect in a small Vermont hamlet. What I didn't expect was a top-notch consignment store, but The Fashion Plate is just that! The interior is quirky as the store is in a historic colonial home, but that made the shopping experience all the more unique and fun. The prices are very reasonable and there is a wide-range from designer to accessible, every day pieces. There are also clothes and accessories for men, children, pets, and the home. The staff were friendly and welcoming, but they also gave me the space to browse without feeling pressured to buy, which for me is a major plus. I spent about 45 minutes browsing and trying on items so I would suggest giving yourself time to really explore the entire store--as one reviewer noted there is a lot to see (but I did not think this was an issue--more treasures to find!). My haul from the Fashion Plate included a vintage Chanel necklace, Chanel cashmere gloves (odd buy in July but winter is coming--haha), Lanvin ballet flats, deadstock Gucci blooms purse, Chanel wedges (I ended up wearing these to the wedding), a Henri Bendel backpack, a cool painting, and a pair of Chanel cambon ballet flats. They only stock authentic items (they explained their rigorous authentication process) and I appreciate that commitment to not selling replica goods. There was so much more to tempt me! I will certainly be back to shop this fun boutique.

I did not enjoy my visit to the Fashion Plate. I found few articles of clothing over a size 8 (I am a 10) and did not feel welcome in the clothing or home goods side. They do have a good selection of shoes and accessories but the space is tight and it is hard to get around if other people are shopping.
