My review has nothing to do with the banks employees. They are all AMAZING. BUT... I definitely am not happy with the bank policies which are bogus. From the beginning I have been told that I needed to use Allpoint ATMs to withdrawl money without being charged the dreaded double whammy from the ATM owner and then Union Bank.So... when I see an Allpoint ATM I use it. LATELY... they seem to not want to honor this and reverse the charges I get from using an ALLPOINT machine, that THEY told me to use, and want to tell me that I did not use an ALLPOINT machine.It has honestly irritates me enough to where I would close my account, regardless of their AMAZING employees, but my fiduciary insists I stay with them. What might seem like nothing to them actually means ALOT to me!I hate having to even write this review... BUT YOU TELL ME THIS WAS NOT AN ALLPOINT MACHINE THAT I SAW AND USED AS DIRECTED!So I WILL start taking pictures, of EVERY Allpoint machine I now use, because I truly hate it when people insinuate I am lying or something!

Absolutely horrible customer service. The Manager on duty was extremely rude and refused to help me open a savings account. I was told by customer support I had to do this in person. I came in to the Williston Branch and made it known I wanted to start a savings account. They asked me to have a seat in the lobby and after 20 minutes of waiting the manager finally gave me the packet to fill out. As I grabbed it from the counter I said I could have filled that out the entire time while I was waiting, she got very upset and proceeded to scream at me and then tell me I would have to do this electronically now and she would not process my request. I came in on my only day off from work to do this in person as they've required and I was refused service by the manager for no reason at all wha had a bad attitude. It was an extremely unpleasant visit and should not be any way any customer service representative speaks to a customer let alone their own manager. Goes without saying it will be a priority for me to switch banks. And that's from somone who has been with Union bank since I was a kid

From the start of our construction loan and now mortgage, Kelly Deforge with Union Bank is a delight to work with. She's so kind, patient,and doesn't treat you as just another applicant. Kelly takes the time to truly get to know her clients' needs. Definitely would recommend her to anyone that needs a construction/ house loan.

I was very excited to see Union Bank come to Williston. As a child growing up in Morrisville Union Bank provided high quality metal keyed Savings Banks to young savers which instilled good saving habit.The people at Union Bank are friendly and helpful and provide valuable services, as one of the few Vermont banks left in our state.Union Bank is a Community minded business and a financial supported of the Williston-Richmond Rotary Club. An asset to our community.

I'm a new customer of Union Bank. After trying other "community" banks and local credit unions I have found Union Bank to have the best offerings both on the lender and deposit side to meet the needs of my business. Additional to their offerings I have found every person I have dealt with to be bright and articulate as they make the transition easy for me.
