Be prepared to put in the time. You need to sift through the merchandise.
You'll find everything here: fair trade imports (e.g., Global Mamas), JCrew, LOFT, vintage brands with tags, vintage homemade things without tags, Clinique makeup, stationery sets, a jumbo Pooh plushie, soap leaves from England, Italian leather belts, kitchen gadgets, a freaking pickaxe, bunk beds, &c.

It was not the cleanest place and not very well organized. Staff was rude and furniture was very high priced.

Pick up wasn't good. Without trying and looked and left, had to call another company the same day to help and they helped with no problems. No disassembling just did the job.

I just adore this store. Somehow I always seem to come at the right time and find the most incredible and affordable danish teak and Vermont wood made furniture. They price their furniture to sell and they need to with how much stuff is donated to them. I will say it’s hard to understand how the pricing works and is inconsistent a lot of the times. You can find a $1000 bookcase for the same price as a Pyrex set

Prices have gone up!Cassette tape price up to $1! Same with VHS tapes and 8 track tapes! They charged me $1 for one hot wheel car on the main store (2nd floor). Today I got 4 car and staff on the first floor only charged me 99 cents for all. Luckily records remain $1 for now. So, make sure to ask how much they are charging you for an item. If an item doesn’t have a price. The new manager did say that she will keep an eye on the overpriced items and items without a price. We shall see!

Thrift shoppers beware: prices have gone up and customer service has plummeted. I had a very unpleasant experience of finding a pair of shoes and being rung up for 5 times their price at the register. When I asked why the employee told me that they were worth that much, regardless of what the pricing list says; she then called a manager(?) who said they were worth even more! False advertising leading to a waste of everyone’s time. Used to be a great place for affordable goods but they must be under new mismanagement.

I agree with the other reviews citing it being overpriced with many rude employees who would be fired any place else. Even worse, a lot of the employees are known resellers who are taking donations for their own profit. The store is crammed full of overpriced useless junk so don’ t go here expecting to find anything great- it’s all been taken by the employees or given to their reseller friends who just have to go to the back door and ask. Only junk gets put on the floor. I noticed today that the older lady at the front desk who is a long time reseller dump a box of jewelry on the counter for another reseller to pick through before other shoppers are able to access it. This is the type of thing that is obvious every time I go in. Nevermind that that the guy who owns Battery St Jeans gets to pick through the clothing first! Looking for a golf club? Forget it because even those are saved in the back for one particular reseller. The donations (YOUR donations) are controlled by the employees and discriminately doled out to whomever they favor.Although I whole heartedly believe in the mission of Resource it has become increasingly difficult to justify supporting them. I frequently donate to the Pine St store because I know the Williston employees will just take everything and even then, they have allowed other donators in the donation bay to just take my stuff without paying , and once 2 employees took the MCM furniture I donated for themselves shamelessly. Is there a living breathing BOARD that oversees this scam of an organization? It needs a complete overhaul because it’s own employees are just sucking money away from the population it aims to serve ( and they also have 12 ways around the 24 hour rule for making purchases FYI). Have donations? The Refugee Resettlement Program would be most appreciative and an excellent alternative.

All in all, ReSource is a great store. There are many items of quality there that one can buy inexpensively. This is pretty important in our day and age where the price of things are going sky-high.

Use to be one of my go to thrift spots. In the last few months the prices have sky rocketed. When I went in today there were scratch and dent appliances priced higher than they are in non damaged condition at Lowe’s and Home Depot (not on sale). I found multiple other things priced higher than they are new. So disappointing.
