To be clear, I didn't even get any work done. This is all based on a phone call.Guy that answered the phone obviously didn't want to do a couple things to my car.Alignment? Nope.Brakes and struts? Nope.Inspection and windshield? Nope."Try the dealership," he says.I'm not going to make any speculations here but this is the type of conversation you have with a mechanic that just up charges you on an oil change instead of actually performing work on your car to keep it safe. I'm not saying that's what's happening here, but DoubleG on Pine St. is fantastic.

Best mechanic in Chittenden County and beyond. He has been our mechanic for 40 plus years. Always has listened to me as to what the problem with the car was and never ever treated me as a "**** female" as some if the dealership did. Can't say enough good things about his service#

I had a busted coolant hose and my car was overheating, steam coming out and clearly a coolant leak. I barely made it to the place because it was the closest repair shop to me.

Jim is the best mechanic around. He is fair, honest, timely and he has decades of experience. You won't find a cleaner, more organized shop or a more knowledgeable mechanic.

Jim Leo has saved my butt more than once. I have dealt with him for years. He is fantastic. To reply to the low rating posted on here, Jim can't give you information over the phone because he needs to see the vehicle. Sometimes people tell him something then when they bring the car in he finds the problem is different than what they thought. I understand this and I always bring my vehicle to him if I need an estimate. Jim's shop is probably the cleanest and most organized looking shop you will ever bring your car to. Whenever he has worked on my car he not only explains the issue in detail so that I can understand it, but he will show me what he did and why. He saves you money because he knows his stuff and he doesn't waste time trying to figure things out. He is quick. He is very experienced and he has always been incredible to work with. He is one of the best around!
