“Great price for location. Close to Burlington and Montpellier. Sheets and bathroom were clean. I needed something printed last minute and the front desk rep, I believe her name was Srijane was very helpful and accommodating.”

“The Blind Tiger is a very unique, charming, and historic boutique hotel experience with a stunning solarium. Service and accommodations are well though out and executed from from check in to check out. I had the pleasure of being hosted in the forever tomgirl suite curated with love and light by Gabrielle Krammer, Founder of local plant based gem, Tomgirl Kitchen. I especially enjoyed being able to request service via text message. The furnishings, architecture and grounds are impeccably kept and absolutely breathtaking. I looked at every inn and hotel in the area, but after seeing the amenities this one has to offer I knew it would be the best spot to lodge during our families Champlain graduation festivities. There's a 24/7 self-serve complimentary tea, coffee and snack bar in the common area. Coffee and continental breakfast is served each morning. You'll have access to parking, indoor and outdoor dining areas as well as indoor and outdoor games and recreation. Although you'll be provided with the wifi password this place invites you to unplug, unwind, pick up a book, play a board game or toss a bean bag. The only screen you'll find here is the tablet the on site property manager uses to check you in and out if you forgo the online option. If you can't go long without technology I recommend packing a laptop or tablet. Many compliments to the manager, the grounds keeper and cleaning crew. This is by far the cleanest place I've ever booked!”

“I can't say enough good about this place! We got in late, called the number on the office door, and was directed to my room with check in instructions by the friendliest man! The outside was cute and very well kept. The room was great and clean. Loved the push button housekeeping service. We enjoyed 3 nice, quiet evenings. We did not take advantage of the drive in movies but what a great amenity! If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely check here first! Thanks to the staff for everything.”

“The staff is beyond kind and accommodating! The room was super clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking and check in was super fast. It was a short five minute or less drive from the airport and there is plenty of food and shopping nearby!”

“We were very satisfied with our 1-night stay. The upgraded (1 bedroom suite with full kitchen) room was clean, comfortable, and modern. Cathy at the front desk was an absolute pleasure to work with when our key stopped working the morning of checkout, and again when we were heading out. My only gripe is to do with the shower: the water pressure on the 4th floor (at one of the ends, #401) is not very good. We would definitely stay here again.Rooms: Love love love the gas fireplace.Food & drinks: The complimentary breakfast is pretty standard stuff - eggs, sausages, waffles, breads with jam/pb/nutella, cereal, some fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee.Noteworthy details: We were delighted to check into the hotel and get all the way to our room without interacting with a single human (digital key), but perplexed that the hotel has disabled the key sharing function in the Bonvoy app which meant only one phone could open the room.”

“Hotel Review: Delta Hotels by Marriott – Burlington, VT
--
As a travel blogger, hotel and restaurant reviewer, and secret shopper for esteemed global brands, I have had the privilege of visiting 68 countries, spanning 6 continents, and exploring 32 states. Throughout my travels, I have experienced a diverse range of accommodations, from large global branded hotels to intimate boutique establishments. It is important to offer comprehensive feedback, both positive and constructive, to the businesses I visit, which often includes publishing reviews across multiple platforms.
--
During my recent stay at Delta Hotels South Burlington, VT, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service and attention to detail provided by your team. Despite being situated in a smaller town in the Northeast, the hotel staff exceeded expectations in delivering a consistently exceptional guest experience. From the welcoming demeanor of the front desk attendants, whose names unfortunately escaped me (I checked in on 6/4 at 12 pm), to the professionalism displayed by various team members throughout the property, it was evident that customer satisfaction was a top priority.
--
The rooms were well-maintained and provided the true comfort you would expect from a Marriott-branded hotel. For some strange reason, I always find myself sleeping extraordinarily well in their beds. The room had all the necessary amenities for the comfort level that one would expect in a technology-driven world. The gym was also impressive, which included a full set of free weights, a 360 workout machine, and plenty of treadmills, bikes, and elliptical machines. Don’t forget your swimsuit for the indoor pool!

If you are looking for an amazing stay in Burlington, Vermont – it would start with an amazing hotel!”

“We paid $400 to stay at the Hilton Garden in downtown Burlington on our wedding night in room 301 and we had the worst night sleep we’ve ever had at a hotel. Every 20 minutes or so the HVAC unit would erupt into action in the bedroom and make a loud deep vibrating sound for several minutes that was so intense that it would shake the bed. We needed sleep so badly after that long wedding day and ended up having the most interrupted sleep ever. We shared this with the front desk when we checkout out and he told us that he’ll make sure to let maintenance know…. As if people don’t complain about this all the time. I have another reservation with the Hilton in July, but I’m thinking I may change it after feeling that no one cared that we paid all that money for a horrible nights sleep and did nothing about it. Do better Hilton.”

“My partner and I took a last minute getaway here and we had a lovely time. The food was great, nice and clean, and lots to do in the area. We will definitely think about coming back again sometime soon.Rooms: The rooms were clean, shower had strong pressure, the soap smelled great, and we had a lovely view.Nearby activities: Just across the bridge over the highway is a great little hub of restaurants and shops. We took a couple days to explore the area. Also, Burlington is 20 minutes away. Fun to take a drive into town.Food & drinks: The tavern’s food is great!! Also they had an impressive tap list of all local breweries, very reasonably priced, between $6-9 dollars for a pint. We loved the duck quesadilla, chicken panini, wings, and Brussels sprouts.”

“A nostalgic throwback to the hey days of classic New England summer road trips -affordable, clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast is continental but a suitable variety . About 10- 15 minutes to all things Burlington. If you are expecting the Marriott at motel prices, you will be disappointed (and shouldn't complain because you are the problem ) but if you want a decent place to crash for a night or two, then this is the place!”

“Another great stay! My fiancé and I came here for a weekend away, and I can't wait to come back! I'm always excited to stay at The Essex. Between an amazing dinner reservation at Junction, couples massages at the Spa, lots of time in the pool, and a visit to the tavern for an amazing breakfast makes our stay worth it every time.”

“We had a great room, clean, up to date decor. It was a bit of a maze to get to the room... but other than that it was great. We had our dog with us, and that was a 75$ fee that I was unaware of.”
