My partner and I stopped in after dinner at Tuckerbox and the person helping us was so wonderful! We have been cooking our way through a levantine cookbook and he was really helpful in suggesting spices we should try. Genuinely one of the best and nicest interactions I've ever had as a customer! We will definitely be back for our obscure spice needs.

I had the best time here chatting with Josh and learning about all their amazing spices and custom blends. He is so knowledgeable and helped us find a fantastic gift box for my grandma. He really hooked us up with the best stuff. I can’t recommend them enough!

My family is middle eastern and I've been pining over the fact I can't get any ingredients or spices for traditional dishes in VT. THANK GOODNESS FOR LITTLE ISTANBUL! They're friendly and it's full of everything I need and missed. I wish I had found them sooner

My boyfriend and I stopped in a few days ago, and we were welcomed by Josh. Josh was very friendly and highly knowledgeable about every product in the store as well as various menu highlights from Tuckerbox, which is the restaurant across the street that is under the same ownership as Little Istanbul (side note: it was delicious!). Josh generously offered us a sample of a spice called Shish Tavuk, providing us with a recipe for it, too! We will be sure to stop back in soon to see what's new and to try some more spices!

What a delightful shop for unique gifts and spices. Upon entering you're welcomed with the scent of warm spices. Then you are enchanted by stunning Turkish dishware, exotic lamps, and much more. Staff are generous with guidance on the use of spices. With their advice we marinated chicken in their Shish Tavuk (with yogurt and olive oil). Also made a dressing with their Vural's Blend for a chopped salad. Tahini and grape molasses from the shop, served with flatbread made by my husband, rounded out a delicious meal. We love having lunch across the street at Tuckerbox, and then spending time at Little Istanbul. But it's worth a trip to WRJ for the shop alone!

Wonderful shop. The store clerk took his time to go over the spices and many different uses. All the spices are in different containers. He would lift the lid into the air where you could smell them. We walked out the door with several new spices. Will do business with them again.

Incredible spices! The cashier generously gave me a free sample of sumac, which I had never had before. Since then I’ve used it for everything from chicken to soup to roasted veggies. Definitely coming back for more!
