I drove 90 minutes as a high risk person to get an updated COVID shot. They didn’t know how to bill my insurance and refused to give the “free shot” even uninsured people are promised. They said it would be $150. It is illegal to bill for this. No help, they don’t know how to bill insurance and they denied a high risk person a COVID shot. Hope they like being reported to the state board of pharmacy.

I drove for 90 minutes to a scheduled COVID vaccine appointment as a high risk person. The woman at the desk told me my insurance wouldn't pay for it. They told me I could pay $150 which is not legal or ethical. I called my insurance and the VT Health Department and that was absolutely false. Every person in VT is eligible to receive the vaccine as soon as it is available free of charge. Even people who live out of state, do not have insurance and/or aren't legal US citizens are eligible for a cost free shot at Walgreens in VT. This is listed on their own website and the VT health department website. I am a resident, citizen and insured and they denied me the vaccine. They cancelled my appointment and did not offer another one. Meanwhile they gave other people the vaccine with different forms of insurance right behind me. It was blatant unethical discrimination. I fault the pharmacist as much as the clerk as he was listening and did not intervene. It is pretty concerning that pharmacy staff do not know the legalities regarding COVID vaccine access.

Manager was Absolutely rude! My experience, and the inability to accept an out of state license to buy tobacco, was completely ridiculous.

Had the rudest girl working the counter. There was nobody in line when I went to check out. I waited at the counter for a minute while she just stood back there and looked at me. When she eventually walked up to me and told me I was in the liquor only line. Nothing else. I had to ask where to go to check out. I asked about availability of a medicine on sale. The spot was empty where it was supposed to be on the shelf and they asked if there was more. I got no answer and instead was told I would need my ID to purchase the medicine that I did not have on me. Crappy attitude overall, it was like I was inconveniencing her by trying to check out. Management should reconsider who they hire or at least keep tabs on how awful their employees are.

If you’re looking for a Covid test that will be completed in 3 days (as advertised) look elsewhere. I got results back in 4 which make it useless for traveling. Had to rush to a lab to get a rapid one done.

A huge shoutout to the staff but most importantly Julie the pharmacist who went above and beyond to help me get my son vaccinated today. He was struggling with anxiety and she put him at ease and went out of her way to accommodate him making the whole thing stress free and positive. She was beyond amazing and incredibly kind. Walgreens has a true gem! Thanks Julie!!!❤️

Just came into store to make a purchase. Got to checkout line. I was second in line behind another gentleman. Another guy went to the register to my left. I should have been next to checkout but for some reason Brittney the clerk abruptly ignored the fact that myself and another guy were next in line and went to checkout the guy that got to register after me. The man behind me even commented that I should have been next. Quite rude I thought. Don't worry. Because of that treatment I can assure you that I won't be back to Walgreens. There are other stores out there. Maybe a little better training

Calling the pharmacy is TOO frustrating. I don't want to go through all the prompts to get a person. Only to hold for an excessive amount of time.
