“The sheer amount of History and actual high-grade fine art packed into this store in actually unbelievable. Many of the pieces are so rare and historic in nature that you'd never see them in any normal antique store- which makes visiting here an experience more like visiting a museum or a gallery- truly incredible. However, if they're going to focus on fine art and history they should do so... There isn't any clear separation between these high profile gallery worthy pieces and the regular antiques- and it appears that they unfortunately don't know how to appraise the latter. From personal experience appraising antiques throughout New England, the lower-tier items in this shop are easily 300-400% overpriced. Unless you are a gallery curator or a fine art collector, this is not the place for antiquing. This is a great business, but they need to focus on what they're good at.”
“This is a wonderful gift shop with truly artistic and hand made artisan pieces. Mostly made here in Vermont. Their pewter pieces are amazing and great quality souvenirs. This is not your run of the mill gift shop with the same stuff made in China you see everywhere else. This is top quality and unique artisan work.”
“The Country Store on Main is the cutest shop! I enjoyed shopping here - it's a great place to find a nice gift! I loved the children's section. I found a cute children's book for my baby.”
“So many cool things in one store!! I wish we had more time to browse. It was a cozy treasure trove of handmade goods, DIY supplies, and unique gifts. Friendly staff. Perfect for crafters or anyone seeking something special! We will be back!”
