Cute little shop with the best cheese I've ever had in my life, and I'm married to a French guy. We went back twice to reload lol. If you go, ask for the blue cheese or the triple cream cheese.

We are staying in Warren for an anniversary trip and stopped by for some cheese and wine for a special evening. It was worth every penny. Best camembert I've ever eaten! And the wines we got were delicious.

We visited in November while on vacation and it was fantastic! If anything they set the bar so exceptionally high that we’re disappointed with our local offerings now that we’re back home lol. We’ve been trying to find the cheeses we ordered at Mad River Taste Place down here in Florida, but they just aren’t the same. So we’ll be ordering online from Taste Place from now on instead! :) Both staff members that helped us were extremely friendly and patient as we asked questions and sampled cheeses. They packaged and sliced our order for us perfectly for us to enjoy a makeshift charcuterie in the lodge we were staying at, which was super nice of them to do. Exceptional customer service + delicious cheeses = winning combo. Definitely give them a try if you’re in/visiting the Mad River Valley!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Mad River Taste Place. The quality of their meats and cheeses are unparalleled and they offer an incredible selection of not only local products but some of the best small business products Vermont has to offer. The staff is eager to share their knowledge and passion about great food and you really can't go wrong here! It's on the pricier side but if you're looking to splurge it is worth every penny!

Mary, Jordan, and the rest of the team are fabulous. They really know their stuff and do a great job recommending cheeses and pairings. I love that there are so many high quality Vermont-made products to choose from. Mostly i go for the cheeses but was excited to see the butcher open up in the same space and love their rotating sausage varieties!

When I'm leaving my Vermont trips facing a 300 mile trip home, I have to stock up, a stop at Lawsons for a variety of their excellent beer, and stops for VT cheeses, bacon, steak and syrup. My usual haul. This shop served my needs, with a cool vibe and a comfortable, refined, interior space, poster sized photos of some of their suppliers. I've usually enjoyed traveling around to get my goods, but had less time so this was a gift. The owner offered meaningful sized tastings of their excellent selection of VT cheeses, and upon arriving home her suggestions were confirmed as well intentioned - great cheeses!

Nice selection, but incredibly overpriced compared to other local grocery stores and markets in the vicinity that offer the same local goods. The same exact items are marked up 30-50%.

Amazing selection of top of the line treats! We purchased Babette’s Table Saucisson Sec (so authentic and delicious!) and cheeses from Square Cheese Twig Farm, Grafton Village and Plymouth Artisan Cheese and just had the most amazing Bastille Day celebration. (Blueberries form Covered Bridge Blueberry Farm in Underhill.) A great find and worth the trip form anywhere.
