When I lived in the Valley many moons ago, I would always get my haircut here. Now when I visit, I still get my hair cut here! Just your friendly neighborhood salon that does a great job.

Hillary is an expert at hair cuts. Get a manicure and a pedicure from Melissa. The shop is clean, orderly and well run. Parking is easy and the location is great.

I was visiting the area for a few days and made an appointment for color and cut, which was cancelled by the stylist the morning of. I had to call the salon again and was told there was no other stylist that could help me. Luckily, I found another salon that could help me on short notice and did a beautiful job!

I used to live in VT and I always went to High Country. I have naturally curly hair which many hair stylists do a poor job on cuttinh. However, Hillary always gave me an amazing cut. Then I moved away. I tried having other hair stylists cut my hair, but none were ever as good. So, now I make appointments with Hillary every time I'm back in town to get my hair cut. I'm by far her "furthest distance away" customer since i fly from Florida to have my hair cut at High Country. Great place!!

We happen to vacation in Waitsfield and I've had my hair cut here twice now. Hillary -- the owner -- is great. It's a very friendly place and they do a great job. If you're skiing at Sugarbush or Mad River, and you just happen to need a trim, this is the place.
