I took a pottery lesson at Blockhouse, and it was a wonderful experience. The people were friendly and kind in helping me out as someone new to the pottery wheel, and I created a number of pieces I decided to keep. The front shop has pottery pieces from a number of different artists, so there are many different styles. Highly recommend for classes and for shopping.

My family of four (incl kids ages 10 and 12) did a wheel pottery class together a couple of months ago. It was wonderful. Our instructor was so welcoming and relaxed while also being focused and supportive. She was a great instructor, with the perfect balance of instruction and then having us dive in and make (or try!). The studio is open and inspiring - full of others' creations at different stages. When we were done, we couldn't resist visiting the shop, too. I highly recommend Blockhouse - the course and the shop!

My son (13) has taken classes or attended camp at Blockhouse Pottery in the summer for three years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They make learning about pottery fun. They also have a wonderful shop filled with great hand made gifts. We highly recommend them.

My first time making pottery and I couldn't have picked a better place! I had a private lesson with Leigh and she was amazing! I made a few pieces which they finished and shipped to me. The shipping was quick and the packaging was great! Looking forward to starting my pottery making journey! Thank you blockhouse studio and a special thanks to Leigh!!!

I wish this studio was in my town- great space, great instructors- my 8 year old son even made something on the wheel. The store had beautiful gifts as well.

A friend and I took the 'Feel the Wheel' beginner's workshop with Luke. It was a great experience and a beautiful space. The instruction was hands on and clear and we got plenty of time to practice different skills with lots of feedback. I would definitely recommend it!
