I'm giving them a low rating because of two experiences i had with them. The one situation just showed a lack of good character. The other situation a lady decided to follow me down an isle and act inconspicuous like she was busy organizing, but truly she just judged me and wanted to watch me like she assumed me to be dishonest from my looks. One could feel insulted by this assumption.

I have found all of the Bisbee’s team to be helpful. They help me figure out what I need for my various projects and Jack in paint is so helpful with paint. I also want to recommend Haley in their design center. She helped us redesign our bathroom during Covid which made it all somewhat challenging. We needed help trying to figure out what we wanted and understand the tradeoffs of various options. The design works so well for us and I continue to love everything we did. There were also supply chain issues and Haley gracefully helped us pick and find some alternative tiles.Unfortunately I recently dropped something very heavy in my sink and broke it. Haley immediately tracked down the company that installed it, and arranged to have it replaced.She been wonderful to work with over many years and I highly recommend her!

This is a really good hardware/paint store. The main employees don’t change which I think keeps the place humming. Prices are comparable to stuff I see online - they don’t gouge. Ed and Jack and the young woman who often works the front counter (sorry I need to get her name) are gems. Always helpful and friendly. I built a high performance post and beam home in 2021 and I spent a LOT of time at Bisbees.

"Most" of the people who work here make a concerted effort to be helpful.Jack in the paint department is one of the best people you can go to anywhere for advice on paint and the likes.As with anywhere you have to select your people wisely.

We recently worked with Haley Mango at Bisbee's in Waitsfield to do a gut renovation of a kitchen and 2 bathrooms in our vacation house. Bisbees and Haley were recommended by our contractor. Haley was a pleasure to work with. She designed the layouts and helped us choose all the materials, and we are very happy with the results. Because we live out of state and wanted to see the materials in person, we had narrow windows to choose them when we were in VT. Haley was always available to us via phone, e-mail, and in-person visits at Bisbees. We are not skilled at home renovations and did not have confidence in our ability to pick colors and a variety of materials, so we relied heavily on her recommendations. She figured out what our tastes were and steered us toward all of the many materials we needed, and her advice was spot on. We couldn't be happier with the results and we highly recommend Haley (and Cassandra and Will) at Bisbees.

This place is much bigger than it seems from outside. A lot of stuff had exactly what I needed. Pleasant knowledgeable staff that feels like they've been there forever. LOL
