About Stone Block Antiques
Beauty is a timeless and comforting pursuit. Stone Block Antiques is the latest manifestation of a 40 year history in the antiques business. As a picker, Word of Mouth Antiques was my first business, which morphed into Marguerite Galvin Antiques, an homage to my grandmother, owner of The Shrubbery Antiques in Sharon, CT when I was young. Starting out as a collector and dealer of antique fishing tackle in the early 80's, my interests grew to include silver, fine art, furniture and a host of other materials. Stone Block Antiques opened in 1997 as a brick and mortar shop on Main Street in Vergennes, VT, where it remains to this day. Buying and selling locally, coupled with shows and now Instagram, Facebook.

Great little shop with authentic antiques. Wide variety of objects found in local estates and homes. Can't go wrong stopping in.
