A super cute and fun bookstore tucked away upstairs. There is a healthy selection of books about local Vermont history, as well as adorable greeting cards made by local artists. I could spend all day in this bookstore perusing the sections!

When I go visit my family in VT Bear Pond Book Store is a must stop. The associates are nice and always recommending books or their favorites.

Good selection of books although the guy manning the register could not be “more” excited to be there. He did not utter a single word when checking me out, did not look up and say hi, did not say thank you at the end of the interaction. Seriously, he acted as if he could not be bothered. Meanwhile, he wasn’t do anything when I approached the counter besides sitting at his chair. I instantly regretted even spending over $100 of merchandise there. In addition, he did not bother even giving me a bag for the bundle of books I’ve purchased. I had to ask. Wow. Not even a hi and thank you. Rude much? Meanwhile, the employees connected to this store were friendly. What happened with this guy? Hire another person more suitable for the job, he’s a complete joke.

This might be the best bookstore. The way the books are organized and displayed is so attractive I could have spent hours looking around. A great variety something for everyone and lots of local books. I especially enjoyed the puzzle section. What a better thing to do on vacation than grab a book and a puzzle and relax.

Love this little bookstore. I always find something I want to read and they have an amazing variety of quality local artwork greeting cards. It's a favorite stop when we're in town.

This is a quaint bookstore in downtown Stowe, VT. They sell a variety of greeting cards from local craftspeople. I must say that I found the artwork on the cards to be beautiful and inspiring. The store sells a large selection of children's books, fictional, historical, autobiographical books as well as books that fall into other genres.

Great selection of books. Displayed beautifully so you can see them easily. Organized in great sections. Wonderful gifts and greeting cards. FANTASTIC jigsaw puzzle selection. And they allow dogs inside. My favorite bookstore to date.
