Garbage. This company's left hand doesn't know what it's right hand is doing and trips over its own shoelaces. I have tried twice to have a reasonable relationship with this company as it is one of the few internet providers in my part of Vermont. The accounts department is a disaster. I just had my account suspended, even though I have auto pay, with no notice. When I called about this I found out they had been sending bills to the wrong address! Now I have to wait without internet service until I get a bill in the mail because I don't trust them anymore.

The Team at VTEL, are ALL so Wonderful! I work from home and need my internet to work, so when I began having trouble they set me up with a new router and when the problem continued the sent Colin and he did a great job! I am so happy to be up and running with super fast speeds again! Thank you V-Tel!

Used to be the best service 6 years ago. Now the internet goes down at least 3-4 times a day. Rarely do they post outage updates and when you call them they don't report outages or updates. Very poor service now. Do not recommend unless you don't have a choice for service...like me.

Had Vtel internet for over 10 years. It used to be great. Over the last few years I've had to restart my router 5 or 10 times a day. Final straw was being shut off for supposed lack of payment on auto pay. Happened 4 or 5 times, had plenty of money in my account and even if I hadn't I have overdraft protection. Costs 45 dollars to get it turned back on.

Don’t waste your time trying to set up internet with them constant outages, useless support team constantly asking you condescending questions that you obviously would’ve troubleshot yourself if you really had internet problems, and price increases and don’t get me started on the wait time these people must have outages 24/7 for the time it takes them to answer you about internet that’s not working that YOU PAID FOR!

Great customer service from Michelle at VTEL! VTEL is fortunate to have such an outstanding customer tech support person on hand. Save yourself the energy and start out with Comcast. I've been with Vtel for 2 dreadful years, if its not random internet outages its random price increases with no notification or email about it. Look through some of these reviews, its horrendous how this company treats its customers when they're paying a ridiculous amount for bad internet as is. After calling and asking about the price raise, I was informed my contract for the year was up (with no notice of any kind before hand from vtel) and that the price increase was my fault. I'll give it to the New Year to have it figured out but at this rate, anything else seems like the better option.

Worst wifi cable everNever got reimbursed for weeks of no service lost all video's I saved. Not recommended!Still getting billed fully after shutting down service and going with another company

I absolutely love my VTel gigabit fiber optic internet! Great value and awesome to have that quality of connection in rural Vermont. Excellent service.

If I could give it 0, I would. Spoke with a lady over a week before I needed the router, in which she confirmed it would be shipped that afternoon. 2 days before I needed the router: Called again to confirm it was coming. Was told it would be in the mail that afternoon.The day I needed the router and service was supposed to start: No router. Called, was told it was never shipped. 7 days to at the least ship a router and they could not even do that. Offered to drive to pick up the router. Was told I could not do that.Was basically told sorry, we cant do anything about it.Terrible.
