Excellent campsite for cyclists, simple place, with several services (toilets, showers, laundry room, cabin with sofas/ping pong table, board games), beautiful view of the lake, small beach, warm welcome, small convenience store.

I will be completely honest, this was the worst stay at a campground I have ever had. I have camped all over the country at this point and this was by far the stay. I stayed here with my friends and we all drove 4hrs to get there. First, the campground is wide open and the campsites have no spaces in between them. They are also not very clearly marked, so you don’t know where one begins and one ends. Second, none of them were flat. This is defined an issue that needs to be addressed by the owners as it effects ever aspect of camping. Third, the owner was very rude and threatening. We were hanging out playing cards and lost track of the time. It became after quiet hours by about a half hour and the owner came down and yelled at us. This typically wouldn’t bother me, however, he was very threatening and harsh for a first warning. I quote “If I have to come back here it’s not going to be pretty”. The view from the campsite is amazing but definitely not worth the money and I recommend never staying here.

The only redeeming quality of this “camp ground” is the view of the mountains across the lake. I would not say they have beach access, it is a rocky boat launch. The campground is open giving very little privacy with the lack of trees. If you’re going for a cult vibe, this may be for you. The ground is slanted everywhere, good luck finding a flat area in the tent section. Can not speak for the RV section. The main reason I came to leave this review is due to the unacceptably rude service from the owner. Quiet hours began at 11, where a total of four of us were playing a board game around 11:30. Nobody was yelling, just enjoying a board game for my boyfriend’s birthday. Not even playing music. The owner came up to us and immediately threatened us instead of professionally asking us (for the first time I should add) to be quieter. A kind reminder and we would have graciously whispered, as our site was close to his house.Meanwhile the site two beyond ours was drunkenly rowdy, but hey they are camping and we know what to expect. So here is your feedback: if you’re going to own a business when’re you live you should probably be less of a duckhead to your customers. Apparently private campgrounds aren’t expected to hold a decorum of professionalism. Will never camp here again and will never recommend Camp Skyland. You’re much better off at state campgrounds.

A most excellent find for enjoying Grand Isle, VT which is ideal for road biking & simply relaxing. This one is fefinitely on the "we'll be back" list.Nearby activities: Hop on your bike as the island's smooth quiet roads await.Food & drinks: "The Hive" at the apple orchard close by has awesome food.

Small family owned campground in an unbelievable location! If you are respectful, so are they! Kind of like real life! Bike trail across lake Champlain with small private ferry was awesome! My son and I had one of the best weeks of our lives.

We LOVED our week at Camp Skyland. We made amazing memories with family, old friends and the 12 children had a blast together. The owners are lovely, helpful, and run an amazing business. My husband and I camped here 9 year ago, and this was our second time renting a hillside cabin. Highly recommend staying here for a short or extended visit. We already booked for next year!

Scenic, quiet campground close to The Causeway and Burlington. Site was spacious despite it being peak vacation time. Our only complaint is that the bathroom stall doors are too high off the floor--when you're sitting on the toilet, it feels as though your thighs are in view. Please fix this!
