If the website says Walgreens is going to be open until a certain time then they should be open. Very unhappy with Walgreens. I’ve stopped at three different ones and website said they would be open, but they were not. Not very cool.

I’ve been getting my prescriptions filled here for over 6 years but something happened making this one of the most awful prescription experiences I’ve ever had. They randomly closed for over 1 week in the summer of 2024 (with no notice, nothing to inform customers they would not be able to pick up routine prescriptions…nothing) and ever since then it has been awful. The old pharmacy staff is gone and the new crew can not manage the volume effectively. The systems that were in place seem to be gone. Requesting a refill on the Walgreens app no longer works. I’ve had to wait over an hr on multiple occasions; no communication when prescriptions are ready or when there is an issue. Being closed on Sundays is very inconvenient, especially when this happens. They will be randomly out of certain medications but not tell you—just leave your prescription as “pending” (even though it will be over a week before the prescription is restocked). It’s awful. I miss the old staff members. Transferring my business elsewhere. Good luck to you.

This store needs help. a 10 deep long line for prescription pick up or on hold to talk to someone for 50 plus minutes twice now. This store needs more staff! I do not recommend going there for prescriptions!

Everyone is nice but they are clearly understaffed. I write this as my wife is on hold for the pharmacy going on 1 hour and 15 mins. Agreed with others that being closed on Sunday is inconvenient, which I suspect is also related to them being understaffed.

Walgreens is truly a “One -Stop Shop” experience. Not only does Walgreens have almost everything you could ever dream of to buy, but the staff in amazing !Walgreens is complete with a pharmacy that is also so friendly and accommodating. Every time l visit the pharmacy, the personnel is not only professional but kind and patient.Erica, in particular, was tremendously helpful with being “dialed in” with her attention to detail and willingness to go the second mile in researching the exact coverage l had with regard to insurance . She re-billed me as my Medicare had labeled differently the coverage l had. Erica corrected it and proceeded to carry out the prescription requirements.I must also mention Charie, who consistently is kind, courteous, personable and professional with all members of the public.I love this Walgreen. The entire staff has bent over backwards several times to help accommodate my requests.I highly recommend Walgreens, located in South Burlington , Vermont to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and considerate staff with access to the wonderful variety of items that this store offers.

This Walgreens is EXCEPTIONAL !I love the staff- every single staff member is polite and courteous- always dropping everything to help me. It is gratifying to be cared about in finding things at a store when one has little time to read all the signs, or, When a person is unable or uncertain how to locate an item! The store is packed with such a variety of cards, seasonal items, pharmaceutical access and all the usual products that modern day pharmacies offer. An Erica, that works at the pharmacy, was an outstanding help to me the other day.She took the time to research my insurance through the computer and "re-bill" me . This took time but l so appreciated her professionalism and personal concern that l be accurately labeled and billed correctly.I am a frequent shopper at Walgreens, and the staff consistently is kind and helpful ; but l would be remiss if l did not acknowledge Charie, who has been the most personable and professional throughout the years. This woman deserves an AWARD for epic service to the public on behalf of Walgreens.I highly recommend this South Burlington Walgreens. You can be browsing or in a hurry, and l can guarantee that this Walgreens will deliver every time both professionally and caringly.

First and foremost, I never write a negative review…I totally feel for businesses right now with the struggle to stay afloat… but today I feel obligated to write this review. I am so so understanding that it’s hard to find good staff these days but holy cow…The “new” pharmacy staff, Sally, was beyond rude and incredibly embarrassing today (thank goodness my daughter was not with me.) Sally was annoyed and loud much of the time, and I felt like my poor daughter’s medical stuff was put out there for anyone around to hear.I was so thrown off that I finally snapped at her and asked her to please stop being so rude. For background- I needed help identifying a prescription name (of my daughter’s) that I needed a refill on.I totally forgot the name and had no idea it was so difficult to retrieve this… Sally was annoyed that I didn’t know the name of the medication and the fact that my daughter had so many prescriptions in the system (not any that were actively being used except 2!)Sally was very snappy after I mentioned that my daughter has delays and is prescribed the medication for something specific (will leave this out to protect her privacy), and not for the reason she was verbally labeling the medication…She got more snappy and said it wouldn’t even be an issue if I just knew what the name of the medication was, so that new people like her didn’t have to do this…Multiple times she argued with me. I attempted to help her locate the prescription in the system by saying it was one of only 2 that were actively being picked up every month and she almost seemed offended that I said this, saying loud enough for others to hear, “2!? No, there are tons of prescriptions in there, not just 2.” For reference my daughter only has 2 prescriptions that we get monthly for her.A kind seasoned worker came to help. This woman has always been kind. When the kind worker was giving me the name of the medication to write down for the future refills, Sally snapped again because the name the kind worker was giving me was the generic name not the name she saw on the screen…and then, I just lost my cool and said “can you please stop acting so rude! You are acting as if everything I am asking is annoying you and I’ve never had this rudeness from any of the employees here.” And while she didn’t apologize at all, and still gave a look of utter displeasure/annoyance, she said nothing more that was rude and put the recipe request in.As I was leaving, I heard the kind worker apologize to SALLY for what I assumed was me asking Sally to stop being so rude!Perhaps this is because Sally is new and the kind worker was being, well, kind…but I shockingly had zero apology from Sally after I asked her to stop being rude…This month I’ll definitely be working on changing pharmacies. And in the mean time, I am so hopeful Sally has a better day tomorrow and none of her other customers are treated like they annoy the p*** out of her.

Christina was rude and unprofessional when I stopped to get my second shingles shot. She needs a course in courtesy and customer service.
