Absolutely disgusting store- I was a bit horrified by how gross and unkept it was. (Product smeared everywhere, filthy testers…). The group of sales associates were huddled by the register gossiping when I came. I was expecting for one to come over because I needed some help with a shade match so tried to get their attention, but no luck. I have been to other Sephora's and had fine experiences, I left yesterday feeling grossed out and a bit shocked at the lack of customer service. Avoid like the plague.

i went to sephora with my friend today and was disappointing at the lack of product and filthy store. I was more upset with the workers who yelled at my friend for looking at the boxes of product that they left out and did not sort through. i won’t be returning.

Honestly. Yesterday it was my birthday and I was disappointed to go home with nothing from Sephora. The testers were disgusting and they were sold out of almost everything. One of the front desk worker was quite rude. She was like “ARE YOU APART OF OUR INSIDERS GROUP?” I said no because I was not at the time but she scanned the member discounts anyway just to tell me “YOUR NOT A MEMBER SO YOUR NOTTTT GOING TO BE GETING 40% OFF TODAY!” even though I just told her I wasn’t a member. She was screaming THE WHOLE TIME. There was this very nice girl stocking some shelves who was very nice though.

I once loved Sephora and grow up dreaming of being able to buy even just a travel size product! Sadly it’s trashed which is due to most of the customers who don’t respect the testers and products! You can’t blame the few employees that work there we need to go further up the chain and complain until the higher ups see their store and start caring!

So disappointed. When Sephora was in JCPenny’s it was grim. Testers were gross, no products, no help.Now Kohls: first time I was there, cute knowledgeable sales associate. Everything clean and fresh.Last 2 times I was there, no staff, testers are horrific, many lines, almost sold out.Come on, you can do better. We can shop on the web, rremember

Went in minding my own business looking around trying to see what I’d like to get didn’t have a plan on what just knew I wanted to try a new product… u get approached by a blonde who works there and asks me if I need anything I say “ No I’m just looking around…” then asks again “ anything in particular you’re looking for ???” I respond “NO I’m really just browsing…” she then says “mmmhmm…” with a very suspicious look on her face as if she doesn’t believe me… Very offensive and unprofessional… It doesn’t end here. I continue to look around and I can just feel her hovering and looking at me so she then asks me again “ still nothing I can help you with???” Are you kidding me? I respond very annoyed at this point. I let her know that it was starting to feel racist and that she needed to leave me alone. There was other people browsing around who were all white. Why aren’t you asking them over and over again??? Please do better.

The store is moving so they had little merchandise this past visit. When they are in the new locatiin I will go and send a post relates to the new stand alone store. Hopefully it will be back to normal or better.

Love the makeup but I don't like how we can't ask for samples anymore and if asking for anything to sample, you get looks...like what are the small sized products there for if we don't ask for them who gets to keep them? The employees? Is that why they have such a hard time giving them out? Even to paying customers that spend decent money there each time they go ? Just curious not trying to sound rude. Other than that, I'd give it 4 stars if I felt my review would be taken seriously.

OH man one star is too many. This is a depressing, disheveled, unstaffed store if I have ever seen one. Walked around aimlessly trying to find children's clothes, and when we got there everything was in a huge messy pile, literally on the floor. What a disaster!

I visited this store on weekday afternoon. I was the only customer, and there were 3 staff persons, sitting on ledges of display cases, looking at their phones. I was never greeted or offered assistance. I finally approached one person who showed products to me without asking anything about my skin type or preferences. After checking out, without a thank you for my purchases, I remembered wishing to purchase a lip color. The person at the register pointed to where the product was. I asked her for assistance in choosing a shade. Her reply was to choose the next shade lighter. No offer to sample the product, no trying various shades, nothing but rude behavior.

Sephora in Burlington is the worst beauty store I've ever seen. Assistants are lazy and ignorant on 95% of the products. One is very rude too. I was waiting for my check and total she told me was too low for 2 products, so I Kindly asked: 'is it $14 only?" as one was a high end one. She replied me: 'give me a second!' in a very rude tone. She must have a beef with me since I went there to claim my 500 rewards versus $10 off (because they never have a 500 rewards box in stock) and she said It didn't exist !!! I insisted for 10 mins and she was very rude , making me appear as a crazy. A manager for all South VT area came and was more ignorant than her assistant, saying that she never heard about it and that she was working for sephora for 14 years. I'd suggest both of them to change job, as it's all over the place on the web and by mail. They don't even bother to fullfill shelves or put stuff in place. And 1 person in the whole store with 5-7 people on a queue. Only a blonde guy and one woman from South America (before covid-19) were very kind and gentle, but I can't see them anymore. Terrible experience. I'm glad that Kohl's is taking over and hopefully this one will close or personnel will be replaced immediately.

I'm only giving one star & that's because the young ladies tried to be helpful. I was informed that they no longer have a manager; she upped & moved to another state! They were bewildered & I felt sorry for them. Agree with others, though. The store was a mess - one box of tissues up near the register, displays mostly disorganized, not clean and not fully stocked. No q-tips, cotton balls or foam applicators. No make up remover. I purchased some Lancôme foundation on sale - they said they were no longer going to carry it - but I discovered (should have checked!!!) the expiration date has passed. Now I have to return it!! Lancôme in NY said I shouldn't use it I'll have to go back but it'll be the last time. Felt bad for the girls but the store is unacceptable.
