I called this place during business hours, pressed three for customer service, the phone rank twice and went dead. this place bites. I called a second time and the exact same thing happened.

Karen yelled at an employee right in front of me. It didn't even seem to be the employee's fault, felt bad for her.

Customer service at this location is extremely poor. I was unable to make it over to pick up my online order in the time frame they allow. It's noted that if you don't pick up the item you won't be charged. Well they marked the item picked up and charged me. When I called and spoke with Anna she told me they couldn't refund the tax. I have to pay tax on a mistake they made and an item I never received. Anna the manager also was sarcastic when I recommended they work on this policy.

Horrible customer service policy. I bought two bottles of paint at a ridiculous price, and only once I got started on the project did I realize that one bottle was the wrong color. By now the receipt was gone, but I bring my unopened bottle back to the store to swap it with the correct color. They tell me without the receipt, there is nothing they can do. Does this make sense to you? It's the exact same product just a different shade. Whatever doing the right thing was going to cost them (in this case NOTHING) it pales to losing a customer.

I'm not sure how they do it, but over and over again this Michaels location has managed to either be out of -- or just not carry -- what I'm looking for. I've tried repeatedly to pick up fairly basic craft supplies (old-fashioned wooden clothespins, clear plastic jelly cord, small glass vials) instead of just ordering stuff on Amazon, and have been repeatedly disappointed. Additionally, it's frequently challenging to find a staff member on the floor and there are often long lines at the counter. It's too bad be pushed towards buying materials online, but seems harder and harder to avoid with brick-and-mortar places that operate like this.

This Michael's is like any other, but go in prepared to feel as if you are in a deserted ghost town the second you need to ask someone (or rather no one) where something is. I am also astounded by how there is ALWAYS a 10 minute minimum (I stress the word "minimum" here) to check out, even if you show up just as it opens. Michael's, it would do you well to hire some more people!!

I'm more and more impressed with Michaels each and every time I stop in for something. It's huge and can be a bit intimidating with the sheer amount of arts/crafts inventory in here but it's nicely organized and neatly laid out. They have signs in every aisle indicating what's in there. I have to do very little hunting around for the few things I typically stop in for here. The prices aren't too bad but don't expect a steal. Good selection on just about everything from paints, fabrics, tools and kids stuff. The checkouts are sufficiently staffed to keep the line organized and moving. Everyone working here appears to have a great can-do and helpful attitude. My only complaint is how crazy the parking is here. It's a single ingress/egress angled lot shared with the rest of a strip mall and it can get confusing/busy and aggravating at times. The spaces are really narrow too. But other than that, Michaels is convenient and never seems to let me down.

Even though I love what the store has to offer I don t want to shop from them. They always have these sales on the shelves but when you go to the till the prices don t correspond to the sale.. It has been three times now where I had to go back to get a refund for things that were charged differently than what the sticker on the actual product said!! Not cool. So I spoke to the manager.. She was so uninterested, practically looking over my head while I spoke. It s the attitude of someone who does not feel they need to try, they will always have customers who don t bother checking. Makes it even worse. I think luring you in by promising a sale and then not giving it is an unacceptable way to conduct your business.

Brought my 6 and 9 year olds here for a friends birthday party. They did some really cool craft projects. It was a great alternative party place. Low cost and very helpful staff member named Lauren. Plus while the kids were partying we were able to walk around the store.

I love this store - huge selection, great prices and regular sales. Print coupons on their website for additional savings! I always go here to buy picture frames - best prices and selection around! I was impressed by the back of house staff who were stocking the shelves last night and asking if anyone needed help. Never heard that in a craft store, it's a nice touch. However, front of house staff is sorely lacking. The girl working checkout last night (Monday Sept 17th) could NOT have been more bored and discontented... the attitude coming from her just oozed "FML...". They seem to have a hard time recognizing when the front of house needs to open another register too, either that or asking for help. It's not unusual to see a line pile up there. So, I'll still shop there, yes, but the service staff needs some training or the manager needs to be a little more aware of what is going in.

I wanted a metal wire frame! They had a good selection! Now I also looked around the store. This location offers a TON of arts and crafts for everyone! Frame's and even custom frames! Scrap booking and other little things. I don't do a lot of arts and crafts but the selection looked good to me! Service: There isn't to much to say here Only that I wanted a metal wire frame...and they had a great selection of them! I did have someone show me where they are. They seemed nice and helpful to point them out. I didn't have to many questions about them. I pretty much knew what I wanted. I searched high and low and only Micheal's had it. When I was going to check out I did find that they only had one lane for check out open. This was pretty slow. On the other hand when I did get up to the register they did finally call someone up. Just took a while. It didn't help that they had a few employees behind the line just watching either. Price: The price was very fair! It was a good quality as well! Cant beat that! I like knowing what I buy will last a good long while! They also offer a good 30 day return. So if you don't like what you have you can just return it. Over all: There is some work that needs to be done here. Just the little things. Such as opening other register if one gets backed up. Other than that it all looked good. Very good 3/5! Check them out! Its nice to compare them to creative habitat. Pending on your needs they may offer more. Plus of course that can go the other way around as well.
