“Small store and a decent selection of wines and liquors. It’s just annoying the fact the you have to make separate transactions for wine and liquor. One of the female associates answered my questions in a very dry manner on one occasion. Perhaps because I interrupted her while she seemed to be in a conversation through “air pods” in a different language.Go to BEVERAGE WAREHOUSE in Winooski instead! Prices are basically the same and you get great customer service.”

“We can't say enough great things about Brad the owner of Burlington Wine Shop! He helped us with the wines for our daughter's wedding in South Hero September 9th. Brad made some great reasonably priced wine recommendations. In addition, he was able to get the disposable champagne flutes for us.This was a great help since we were all came from out of town and had a brief amount of time to accomplish the wine, sparkling cider and Prosecco for the wedding. The reason we felt comfortable contacting Brad was a previous Yelp review and that another wedding party had given a glowing review.Thank you Brad!!!Mark & Wendy”

“Great liquor, beer and wine store. The owners are really nice people and im glad that they kept this place going. You can also redeem bottles and cans here and are very helpful with the counting process. You just pull up to the back and they will come get your bottles and cans. They have a collection of old bottles in the back that i enjoy checking out while i wait. This bottle is just one example. I had Trevor place a custom order for me and it was handled perfectly. Thank you for everything Cap'n Cork.”

“Cool place to get some locally made spirits in Burlington. It has bottles to go, or you can try a few of these at the counter. Smuggler's Notch is one of a few distilleries in town. Have a few of their liquors in a flight. The cocktails are made to go, so think about getting those as well. A lot of liquors to choose from. It's not like a bar, so it only has taster samples. Try a flight and sample a few of these. It's 4 of the liquors. Pay $5 to get a flight, and bottles can be $15 or more. Among the choices is the Blueberry Liqueur. Tastes a lot like pancake syrup. Among the more traditional ones, the Maple Whiskey is the best. This is a good use of local products and stuff. For sure go here if wanting to get some of the locally made liquors. It's just the liquors, so no food or anything like that. The flights are the best option if wanting to try a few things.”

“My husband and I came here the other day for the first time. We absolutely LOVED their food! Their “Miles” Philly cheesesteak sub definitely competes with Pat’s King of Steaks in Philadelphia. This is a place we will revisit again soon. Thanks!”

“Amazing views and fantastic food. The clam chowder was full of clams and had a wonderful flavor, the lobster roll was amazing and super fresh tasting with a fair amount of lobster for the $30 price tag, and the maple ham wrap was super delicious. Additionally, they have a great little shop with some local products which makes it easy to grab souvenirs for friends and family!”

“Big store! A wide variety of beers and wines (some refrigerated as well), snacks and soda also available. A good selection of liquors. Great customer service! We were helped by one of the associates (tall young man in glasses). He was very knowledgeable and really helpful. Answered a bunch of questions in a very confident and friendly manner. Thank you so much and Happy Holidays!”

“Nice staff who offers advice on new products that come in based on what you are buying. They have a great selection, really everything you need. It's not a huge store but it's packed in there. Hours can be kind of funky but when they are open it's a great place to go. They have more of craft beers than your Bud Light and whatnot. If you're looking for those kinds go across the street to the gas station.”

“Great place for keg rentals of local and specialty beers. We got a keg of Switchback for our wedding and they had everything we needed to serve it. Pickup, drop off and deposits/payment all very smooth and straightforward. Having some nicer looking options for serving (like a keg fridge or barrel server) would be an even bigger plus, but no complaints!”
