“Not my first visit here but my first review. Holy cow - this place is fantastic! We've purchased a LOT of items over the years - ornaments, lighted houses, vases, etc. The staff are wonderful- especially Nathan this trip who went above and beyond to search for the lighted street scene (photo attached). In addition to all major holiday items, they have a Christmas Village based on a New England town. It's old but that's part of the charm (pics of previous visits attached). You can always find what you are looking for!”

“This is an absolutely beautiful treasure of a store. A family owned business, with the sweetest couple working together side by side to bring us all something beautiful. Every item in the shop was thoughtfully picked, paying attention to every detail. From the moment you walk in, it feels like home. So many amazing gifts (self or for others) to find with prices to meet everyone’s needs. I LOVE this shop, as do my children. If you’re in Burlington, stop by…you’ll be glad you did.”

“Got to go to this local store in Burlington. It has plenty of cool and interesting gifts. Common Deer has a bit of an outdoor theme but not always. Has jewelry and lots of locally made crafts. There's also some things like specialty foods and that kind of stuff. A lot of great ideas for gifts. It's particularly a place to go if looking for something local. They sure have lots of that. Handcrafted items. There's even some food like maple syrup and granola, and that kind of stuff. Maybe kind of expensive, but that's to be expected. The whole selection is local. For sure there's a lot to check out in here. It's got plenty for all types of people. They're closed Tuesdays.”

“A really nice shop in Burlington for handmade jewelry and housewares, kind of perfect if shopping for unique birthday or holiday gifts. There were handmade pewter ornaments, spoons, earrings, picture frames and more, all (in my opinion) really reasonably priced! I ended up leaving with a stunning pair of mens cufflinks that I squirreled away until Christmas. When checking out, I also found out that Danforth Pewter has another store in my hometown of Portland, Maine!!!”

“I walked in this store not thinking much from the outside but as soon as I stepped in it was like I was meant to be there. This store you could walk around 4 times and still find new quirky gifts/pieces to fall in love with. I spent a bunch of money bc I just kept finding such unique things. I didn't go anywhere else in VT like this and highly recommend stopping in. Staff was super nice and friendly!!!”
