Hotel Review: Delta Hotels by Marriott – Burlington, VT
--
As a travel blogger, hotel and restaurant reviewer, and secret shopper for esteemed global brands, I have had the privilege of visiting 68 countries, spanning 6 continents, and exploring 32 states. Throughout my travels, I have experienced a diverse range of accommodations, from large global branded hotels to intimate boutique establishments. It is important to offer comprehensive feedback, both positive and constructive, to the businesses I visit, which often includes publishing reviews across multiple platforms.

During my recent stay at Delta Hotels South Burlington, VT, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service and attention to detail provided by your team. Despite being situated in a smaller town in the Northeast, the hotel staff exceeded expectations in delivering a consistently exceptional guest experience. From the welcoming demeanor of the front desk attendants, whose names unfortunately escaped me (I checked in on 6/4 at 12 pm), to the professionalism displayed by various team members throughout the property, it was evident that customer satisfaction was a top priority.
--
The rooms were well-maintained and provided the true comfort you would expect from a Marriott-branded hotel. For some strange reason, I always find myself sleeping extraordinarily well in their beds. The room had all the necessary amenities for the comfort level that one would expect in a technology-driven world. The gym was also impressive, which included a full set of free weights, a 360 workout machine, and plenty of treadmills, bikes, and elliptical machines. Don’t forget your swimsuit for the indoor pool!

If you are looking for an amazing stay in Burlington, Vermont – it would start with an amazing hotel!

A very comfortable hotel. The location is close to the airport and highway, and there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are clean and spacious, facing the beautiful garden, and are comfortable. It's a two-story building and the rooms in the back are quite far away. Bonboy members above a certain level have access to a room with snacks and drinks available 24 hours a day, which is a great service when you're leaving on an early morning flight. There is a shuttle bus to the airport, which you can request at the front desk. It was a hotel where I had a very comfortable stay and left a good impression.

Great location for Higher Ground concerts. Room was nice and comfortable except for the AC unit quite annoying as it was powering down per the thermostat, we finally just turned it off. Otherwise quiet enough to sleep through that. Nice bedding. They don't have all the channels you want, some issues getting the New York Ranger game due to their choice in Internet TV provider.
Safety: Well-lit parking lots.
Walkability: Close to Higher Ground
Food & drinks: Dukes on site is a very nice bar and restaurant with 4.5/5 food. Excellent.

Close to the airport, free parking, and a free 24-hr shuttle service. The rooms are nice and they have a restaurant that has an outstanding menu.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are pretty sparse, definitely need updated. Was put in a handicap room, dorm fridge just sitting on the floor, bathroom was institutional, with floor drains in the main part of the bathroom. No desk or table, or place to set luggage.
Walkability: Quite a few dining and shopping options within walking distance.

I had attended a work event at this location. I did not rent a room but we were in the ballroom area. There was supposed to be a bar. It was the smallest I’ve ever seen. The two women bartending were very unfriendly and slow. They also refused to make the drinks my husband and I wanted, while giving us major attitude. Did seem clean though!
Food & drinks: Food was great. Bartenders not so much. Slow and reluctant service if any.

First time at a Delta, staff are great, very helpful and friendly. This location was obviously some other large Motel, the Delta makeover seems to be mostly in the lobby, the rooms are nice, bathrooms are a little dated, location is very convenient for the airport.

My welcoming was warm and friendly and young lady at the front desk was very accommodating. The restaurant is also very good. I would Highly recommend you stay here.

This is the type of business practices this hotel uses. Not even that nice of a hotel and has the audacity to charge $1200 a night because a solar eclipse is passing thru. Scumbags taking advantage of people. No integrity. Would never stay at a place that operates like this. Normally the rates are $200 or less.

I had a room booked at another hotel. I caught an Uber to what I thought was that hotel. They called the police. The police brought me to this place who charged me $256 for a room. The police and this place neither one would even look at my phone to see that I had a pre-paid room at another hotel. I got ripped off by this place. They took advantage of me when all I needed was a little help to catch an Uber to where I was supposed to be and already had a room. God I hate Vermont. These people are all crooks even the cops.
