i took my 16 yo nephew to get both ears pierced today and it was a great experience. The young woman did a fantastic job of the placement of the piercings. She took her time with sanitary preparation and adjusting the dots with the marker to make sure they were well centered and that my nephew approved of the placement before the actual piercings. The final result was perfect. I read some of these other reviews and found the negativity unjustified. I would return here for service.

Stood in this store completely unsupervised from 545 to 555pm on 10/03/23, absolutely no employee present, employee came out of corner room, she avoided eye contact no greeting or anything. Then stood in front of counter waiting to be addressed, 2 minutes later decided online ordering only put everything back and we left. Sadly realized Claire's will no longer have a store available with this lack of customer service. Sad RIP Umall Claire's.

My 6yr old daughter got her ears pierced here, and the young lady who did it couldn't have been more amazing!! The way she explained the process to my daughter, it was great and the most kid friendly! The experience was the best? highly recommended!

Went to Claire's the morning of February 21, 2023...and had such a wonderful experience. The workers were so kind and helpful, and just talking with them I felt I gleaned beautiful life wisdom. When I walked into the store I never expected to hear such heartening insights on existence, or to walk out more excited to be alive than when I walked in. And then! When we thought we were missing a piece of the necklace we'd just bought, we went back and the sweet dear worker was so kind in helping us figure it out. 10/10, never expected to revisit a childhood haunt and feel such fondness again. Thank you sincerely to the workers today. \\u003c3 (: (They deserve a raise or praise or cupcakes or their favorite treat or sincere gratitude or *something* from their bosses!!! hehe)

Only one staff on when we came. She was very helpful. It Very very busy. Very expensive for piercing $79 and cheaply made jewelry.

Went in for an item. Manager was super unhelpful. She's just a teenager. Took her role to serious and her problem solving skills were non existent. Disappointed the assistant manager was way more competent.

Claire's is a jewelry store meant for young to tween aged. I have no problem with this location, or the franchise. I'm no longer the target age of the merchandise, but there are some things as a customer that I've noticed.The earring section doesn't have as many earrings as I remember. What they do have is very small hoop earrings about the size of a Barbie's wrist and teeny tiny studs. They all looked quite easy to lose, or not easy to put on.The prices are good for what you receive, and they have a decent selection of hair and other accessories. There's a lot more toy items than I remember, but that seems to be the trend for tweens and young girls.I'd say this is a good store to come and get your child's ears pierced, and to get cute little earrings for little ones. I miss the 10 for 10 sale, and I wish that the quality was a little better, but that's not an issue I have with the location, but more the manufacturer. Other than that I've enjoyed many shopping trips to this store and have bought many gifts for friends and little ones that I know.

We had my daughters ears pierced here and that part went great, but 2 other pretty large issues.1. We were in town for a youth football game and planned on stopping in at Claire's for my daughters first ear piercing's. She was super excited (and nervous!) and we arrived Saturday evening an hour before closing. The store appeared to have 2 employees in the shop and when we walked in, 1 of the employees was sitting on the floor and was appearing to be stocking the shelves. My wife asked if we could get my daughters ears pierced and the employee said she was not available because they just had a shoplifter, and she would be busy filling out paperwork, talking to the local PD, and performing an audit of store merchandise. My wife was taken aback and made a point to ask if they would have time the following day since we were coming from an hour out of town. The employee responded with "Probably". We felt for the employee as she was obviously stressed, but coming from an hour away, we wished she would have made this work for us.2. I drove my daughter up the next day (another hour drive!) and we were able to get the piecing done. It went very smooth and the employee (I think the manager) was really good. It went rather quick (which made me a little frustrated regarding the previous day that it couldn't get done...). She gave us the ear rings box and directed us to check out when we were ready and we would also receive a discount on any purchases that day. I decided to purchase some earrings for my daughter as a gift and was happy to support the store given the poster indicating "Free piecing and first set of ear rings" and the discount we were getting. When we got to the checkout, it was another employee as the initial manager was doing another piecing. I handed the box to the cashier and she ran through the charges and then said "You got the peircings...it was rapid right?". I was like..."Ummm, yeah?". So she rings up $79. I was like "Ummm, I thought the peircing was free right?". She said "Yeah, it is.". So I responded by asking about the piecing kit on the "free piecing" posters. She said "Yeah, you get the free earings and then solution...did you get solution?". I did not so I said "Umm, no...I only got the earings box." So she hands me a bottle of the "rapid solution"...and then said it would cut our time in half from 6 weeks of healing to 3. I was so confused...this was not talked about at all by the person who did the piecing and it was not mentioned on the tablet I was handed were I supplied all my information. At that point, I just wanted to leave...I was beyond annoyed with the poor communication and the lack of any attempt to try and bridge the gap with me who was obviously confused.In the future I will not give my business to Claire's. Nice store and very nice job on the piecing (and I very much appreciate how the manager talked and treated my daughter), but really poor communication and bad customer service 2 days in a row. Also, handed me a tablet to fill out all the necessary "minor" stuff for getting piercing's ,but no information or print outs that came home with us. I'd expect a packet and maybe a nice box/bag for what was a big deal for my daughter, and instead we are carrying the $124 worth of stuff (including the $79 bottle of magic ear solution) we purchased in our hands out of the store. It could and SHOULD have been more special than this. My daughter was happy to finally have earrings and so that is good, but Claire's ruined the moment for me.

Great selection but only had one person for staff. I'm surprised they don't have more problems with shoplifters.
