I really appreciate the personalized service we get every time. The staff truly care about our elderly dog and making sure the care is tailored to his and our needs. They listen and discuss options, which is a huge help in navigating this phase of his life. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

Recently brought 2 of my fur babies to be seen as new patients. Both Dr we met were knowledgeable, kind, patient, and I'm greatful for their hearts. I'm happy to get our fur babies care here. They know pets are really just adopted children and we love them as our babies.

I started bringing my puppy to Shelburne Veterinary Hospital in April of 2024. Everything seemed good up until the point when he got giardia and hookworm. I took him in and got the medication, but alas he still had giardia and hookworm, so he got another round of medication. After that he came back positive again, but this time just giardia as he had been put on a monthly deworming med. After the 3rd positive test I was finally told that if your dog has giardia but no diarrhea then usually it will go away on it's own, but this was after a $77 fecal test he didn't need.
The issue that caused this review was ordering flea and tick med through a third-party. The prescription had no refill assigned to it so I have to get approval from SVH every time I want to order meds for my dog???? Two days have passed and they haven't responded to 1800Petmeds, so the medication hasn't shipped.
It just seems like this place isn't a Vet hospital at all, it's a business and all they want is your money. They don't want to put you or your pet first. If they're not getting paid, then they don't care. I'm done. I recommend anyone considering this place to just find some other Veterinarian to go to.

Dr Bisson works with us on the care of our male eclectus, Jules. He is knowledgeable in the care of parrots which is a rare find in Vermont. The long drive for us from central Vermont is well worth it and we know Jules is in great hands!

I had a great first experience here. All of the staff were kind and helpful. Dr. Raezer was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to talk with me and get to know my pets.

They are very welcoming, customer service was great and got a lot of knowledge on birds from the Vet. We did everything the way he said and Banana and Pickles are now snuggly bugs and best friends.
I enjoyed this experience very much and so did my daughter. Thank you for everything you all do for not only reptiles, but birds as well.
