“I live around an hour away but still go here to find products I cannot find elsewhere. I can get Maltex hot cereal and now they have coffee roasted in Charlotte that is certified BIRD FRIENDLY! Many other items but those are special.”

I'm grateful for the farmstead which I visit often, the flower gardens which are an art masterpiece, and the herd of cows who I visit all year round. The goats and cats and dogs are friendly and fun. “This is a great place to get 'hard to find' items. They also have fresh meat, frozen foods, and drinks. The staff members are friendly and will consider getting special items if you ask and they're able to do so. We make a special trip at least monthly.”

“Well it's right down town, great location, plenty of parking spots, handicap parking too. There are plenty of bike racks for patrons who ride. They even have tables outside when the weather is nice. There is a dog station if you choose to let your dog wait outside, but you can always bring service animals inside (anywhere). Also they have an ATM outside, now as far as inside the store, well there's a great produce section,a bulk food department , spices, candies, and dry goods. They have an excellent selection of vitamins and O. T. C. medicines. Then they have a deli, meat and seafood counters, sushi, hot foods, M. T. O. sandwiches, beer, wine, groceries... I think they have just about anything you can think of. They offer memberships which come with discounts and incentives, perks,news updates on the Co-op and if you're on SSI or food stamps, you can get a membership for free.”

Maybe time for a change or retraining in customer service; Customer service isn't for everyone and changes over the years on demand some times. Some position changes after many many years with a company isn't a bad thing.Would be a 5 but them few kill the check out experience.”

“We love this place. It's tiny, but it's one of the best place to buy bulk spices. They're also fantastic if you're trying to add more plant-based foods to your meal rotation. The selection of lentils and beans is overwhelming (to a Westerner, anyway). And their ginger is always fresh and plump.”
“Full disclosure, I’ve worked here for a month since the new owners took over. But I’ve lived across the st from Macs (now Essex market) for almost 5 years and never realized they made hot food every day. Amazing. With a double cheeseburger and soda at McDonald’s breaking $20, I can’t believe I just got the two tastiest burritos I’ve had since college for $10, that includes two sodas. So good and customers always rave.”
