A great place to bring your dog or share memories of your dog. We didn't plan our trip around this location but we were glad we visited.

Wonderful experience, there's isn't to much parking, but it's set up for dog walks and plenty of play stops along the winding trails. Be sure to bring a photo of your padded away best friend as the chapel is full of pay memories. Screne location and a must for anyone visiting st Johnsbury

Dog Mountain, Home of Stephen Huneck Gallery is a nonprofit set on 150 acres of mountaintop in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The renowned American folk artist Stephen Huneck and his wife, Gwen, turned the property into a unique interactive artist installation that celebrates the profound connection between people and their pets. Dog Mountain is covered with hiking trails and dog ponds. Wildflowers abound in the summer and snow-shoeing is a favorite activity in the winter. Visitors come from all over the world to visit the Dog Chapel, shop at the Stephen Huneck Gallery, and attend a Dog Party.
The grounds are open from dawn til dusk to people and their dogs. Leashes are optional on Dog Mountain. Dogs are not just welcome here, they are cherished!
