I had a broken window on my Toyota Venza. I figured it would be cheaper to pay out of pocket than have to pay my deductible. I sent safelite a request for a quote. They got back to me pretty quickly and said it was a dealer piece of glass only and it was going to be over $900 installed. I decided to call the dealership and ask how much the glass is. My cost was $89 I understand companies will have a markup on items so they make money on them but $800 to install a $89 piece of glass!!!! That's ridiculous I called two other companies and ended up with the same piece of Toyota glass installed for $230 total. Tried to contact safelite to ask why it was so expensive and kept getting told "I don't handle the pricing but I can transfer you to the person who does". Needless to say after about 45 minutes on the phone and five different people of which no one could explain the price I gave up. As far as I'm concerned safelite as a company is a rip off and should be reported to the better business bureau. I will never try to do business with them again under any circumstance and I hope no one else does either.

Horrible service after a failed install. Dave at the St. A shop was a dink. Called the 1-800 number and the issue was resolved.

Sean was my technician. He repaired my windshield on both vehicles.In 2022, on my chevy cruze.Now 2023, he repaired windshield on my equinox. Both experiences was very professional, friendly, quiet waiting room, TV and coffee, WiFi, and a very fast repair... Absolutely phenomenal experience.Sean thank you so much again for your service!! I highly recommend this Safelite location.

I have used this location in the past and they were great. However, they did not list a local phone number anymore. When you call their national number you get some awful computer bot. Not only did it refuse to connect me with a real person, it said goodbye and hung up on me. Never again will I give this greedy corporation my business, who won't even hire a real human to answer the phone. Novus got my business. They are awesome, answer the phone, and are LOCALLY owned.

This was the worst I mean worst experience I have dealt with. 1 I made an appointment with your safelite 800 number on Friday I was suppose to go to your Williston shop they set up I get an email on Sunday saying my appointment is confirmed for the Plattsburgh shop. WHAT! I had to call back and make another appointment by that time I had to wait another week and half to make one and it was for the St Albans shop. I was told by the Safelite that it was all set. I get a $50 off coupon I have a 500 deductible was told I had full glass coverage appearantly NOT. Ok always I got that coupon in my email I tried to use it and they would not honor it when they sent it to me to use. They said Geico wouldn't let them use it. Well I can not believe that. The lady on the phone from safelite said they would give me free windshield blades for the mix up. Guess what the gentleman the was there would not honor that after I got off the phone with them just minutes before. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO SAFELITE. THEY LOST MY BUSINESS FOR GOOD. WENT TO THEM FOR YEARS AND YEARS NOT NO MORE
