We had a larger tank installed which meant fewer deliveries. With a reader on the tank we never had to worry about running out of propane like we had in the past. Very comforting knowing w didn’t have to run out to check levels. Thanks for your service!

Sent us a text saying up coming delivery but they Didnt show we ended up having to reach out to ask for delivery we were down to 12%. We have been customers for 30plus years and was worried with the pending storm of running out of fuel. We use it for hrat hot water and dryer. No local number number, had to finally go thru the website to contact anyone.

The local AmeriGas supplier Liberty Propane is no longer open for walk-in service. The automated response system keeps you on hold forever. A delivery was ordered over a month ago and now my tank is literally a few days from being empty. I can't get in touch with anyone. Think it is time to start looking for another supplier.

The customer service is ridiculous. We have been out of propane for days now, paid a $300 emergency delivery fee with the promise of delivery within 24 hours. Three days later, we are still without propane. The only customer service we have been able to connect with are from out of state and say the same thing each time, " it will be there by end of business today". I am disgusted by the lack of customer service and horrible communication pertaining to why we have yet to receive our order. The next call we make will be for them to come and pick up their tank as we are looking for other providers. Sorry Liberty, you were once a solid local company but Amerigas has dropped the ball. ☹️

Call today for service and they basically told me I was on my own. That has a company they no longer provide service to their customers. So I guess when you’re one of their customers you better not have any difficulties with your furnace or any of your other propane apparatuses. Definitely a poor experience on my part and I am now looking for a new company. Been with them for over 10 years. Everything went downhill when AmeriGas bought out BlueFlame. Moving on

They automatically deliver propane when I need it and I don’t have to worry about keeping track of the propane level in my tank. I also like that they text me in advance so I know when I can expect a delivery.

We've had trouble with the customer service, delivery reliability, over-billing, and general integrity of AmeriGas during the 5 months we've been working with them. The service center reps have limited ability to directly help and the audio quality of the calls can make it very difficult to understand the rep. You will not be able to connect with a local manager or driver under any circumstances. Delivery takes weeks to arrive (even after pre-payment), with no way of knowing when they'll show up. We have been over-billed and had to request our balance be returned to us. They just held onto the money for months and didn't apply it to subsequent deliveries. Most important thing to know about AmeriGas and other large propane companies: they start your gas price off very low, way below market rates. They actually lose money on the first few deliveries. However, they slowly increase the price over time and eventually gouge their customers at rates around 60% above market rate. It's hard for me to believe that this kind of business behavior is legal. It's certainly not ethical. We're staying with AmeriGas long enough to cash in on the cheap gas they offer early on. We'll be switching to a company with integrity the moment our AmeriGas pricing rises to market rate.I recently called one of the small, locally owned propane companies, Onsite. One of the owners answered the phone and advised me on market rates. We're eager to start putting our money in their pockets.

Over $1 more per gallon than other propane dealers in the area. I sent an email asking to be contacted about their prices, and never heard back from them. When I ordered propane I asked about buying my tank so I can shop around. I was told the I would need to speak with someone from a Customer Service Retention person. I gave them my info for that, but I again never heard back from them. Customer service for this company is horrible. I would not recommend them to anyone. Always make sure you lo0ck in a rate or use a buyers club, because if you do not, this company will look to screw you big time.

Everything, horrible customer service, horrible people. They own my tanks, so I’m stuck with them. Not after spring though!! When I asked to speak with someone in the office. I had a propane leak from my outside tank. It took them only a short time to come check, but they won’t compensate for the wasted propane.

Called on Tuesday morning to report furnace not working. Was put on schedule for following week -- I said that wasn't acceptable, to wait a week without heat. Customer service (located I don't know where since no one answers at the St. Albans number) put me on "expedited service." Called Wednesday to see how things stood, was told that I was NOT on "expedited service" and would have to wait a week. Yelled a little, was put on "expedited service." Called Thursday and was told that I'd just have to wait. On Monday, called again and was told that the local office (St. Albans) was no longer doing furnace repair/service. So I waited a week for absolutely nothing. Worst so-called service ever. Lies, incompetence, lack of basic services. Is there anything less than a one star rating?

I spent 1 hour and 33 minutes on hold Tuesday December 1, 2020 and was given an automated message stating Amerigas could not recieve my call at this time and then the machine hung up on me. I needed to schedule a delivery because their site did not give me an option to do so online. I can't wait to switch propane companies.
