Key Honda in Rutland has normally been a great dealership to work with. I have purchased vehicles from them and service is easy enough to schedule, and the waiting area is comfortable. My issue I do have is when I purchased my last brand new Honda, I actually also purchased extra coverage for it. I purchased the auto saver system which key Honda sold to me that's supposed to guarantee against rust but when the vehicle started showing some early signs of surface rust and I asked them to file a claim for me, they have been completely nonresponsive. I have called and called and called and spoke to the service manager and had the vehicle in for him to inspect and I am still waiting a month and a half later for him to finish or begin filing the claim for me so I can have the small spots of rust repaired before they become unsightly. Even the business manager does not respond to multiple phone calls. It seems as though they think if they ignore me, I will go away. Not good business practice for sure.

In July I was traveling through VT and had an issue with my CRV battery not working AND hood not opening - and pulled into Key Honda at 5 pm on the dot, just when the service department was closing. The whole team went above and beyond and stayed longer to help me sort things out. When it looked like my car would need to stay overnight, they gave me a loaner to use so I could get to my destination. So grateful for the kindness, understanding, and help shown by everyone at Key Honda, thank you!

I bought a car from them and had a solid experience. I negotiated the entire thing via email and they were very responsive. They delivered the car to my house and it took about 10 minutes to sign the papers in my driveway. It could not have been any easier. There were no upsell tactics, no extended warranty b******** no nothing but a car delivered to my house for the price we agreed upon. In fact, they floated the down payment until the next day because I wanted to pay by credit card and something was going wrong when they tried to process it from my driveway. Of the other Honda dealers, this one was the most responsive and the most willing to work with me via email. I did get an offer from another dealer for the exact same car for a few hundred less but I went with Key because of how they treated me.

I had to bring my Honda Pilot in for an alignment and an electrical repair. Key Honda did a wonderful job fixing it and communicated with me about the next step they were going to do and asked if I wanted to proceed which I thought was helpful so I didn't get hit with a very large repair bill. I was very pleased with the service I received from Key Honda Service!

The name has changed because the ownership had changed. Same people working there. Same good service. Now named Key Honda of Rutland.

Great place to buy and have your car serviced. I've been a customer for 19 years
