Refreshingly nostalgic of the coops of the 90's. Not one of those pretentious gentrified yuppie playgrounds as is the trend elsewhere.

Definitely not a one stop shop for groceries but so perfect for bulk grains, spices, and can count on them for local artisanal items and unique international flavors
The Rutland Area Food Co-op is a community-owned grocery store centrally located in downtown Rutland, serving our community since 1995. We proudly carry local products from more than 180 small farms and producers found throughout Vermont and the Northeast. We specialize in organic foods and goods as well as those grown and made with sustainable practices, such as Fair Trade. As a Member-Owned Co-op, each member has a say in what we carry, and any Member-Owner can run for the Board of Directors to help shape the future of the business.
