Best Deli worker in my sincere opinion is Ashley !!!!! Pleasant person, fast, efficient, knows how to slice the proper thickness, knowledgeable of products. She should be commended for her work with customers !

The new Italian section!! Absolutely delighted to find authentic Italian groceries in the new section. Pastas like Rummo even regarded as the best in Italy itself right here in Rutland?!? Pls keep them coming and don’t ever stop! I’ll buy it all!!

They don't sell organic tampons and they deleted a bunch peoples accounts for no reason. most of what they sell is just poison. Probably won't go back again. I'd rather shop at the local co-op

Best grocery prices in Rutland! And a great selection of items. I like that they are always well stocked, and the store is kept clean. Whoever fetches the carts is doing amazing. There are always other Plaza store carts strewn across the parking lot, but the Market 32 ones are neatly stocked by the door. Kudos to the cart person.

I mean it's cleaner than Grand union, but they don't have any whitening strips, they didn't even have any basic. Hannaford's has both of those things. I'm pretty sure TJ Maxx even has both of these things

I shop here every week and usually have no issues but the last 4 weeks I have purchased pre sliced deli meat, a different kind each week and it is sliced so thick it is not edible on a sandwich. The worst was the corned beef, half a pound was 3 slices. Roast beef last week the same, today the ham. I haven't ever had issues like this until the last month. I'm not sure if whoever is slicing is going the quick route and trying to reach the weight fastest way possible but regardless I won't be buying anything pre sliced again.

Self checkout is ruining the shopping experience here. Market 32, you cannot force people to self-checkout with $400 in groceries. I cannot understand how a multimillion dollar business is not able to afford running a checkout lane simultaneously with the self-checkout.
Items do not ring in reliably enough, coupled with how busy the 1 attendant is to not have multiple options.
This is the third time that I have gone through this negative experience. Not all customers can shop when it is convenient for you to have a checkout lane open.
You invested millions in upgrading the food quality, layout and loom of the facility but can't manage to pay well enough to have a lane open. Fix this or lose families.

We went in to get some food and got had champagne in our cart. l'm under 21, my dad's Dominican, and my mom is white. I'm very light skinned. I went in with my mom 4 days earlier , and then we also bought alcohol and didn't ask for any ID. Today I went with my whole family but my dad was the one paying they say we need everyone in the party ID, and I obviously don't have ID because I'm under 18 they say it's "Vermont state law" which isn't true we go into plenty of other grocery stores and they have never said anything. My father was racially profiled by this store and the people working in it. Even if I had ID and I was under 21, are they not gonna sell it to us OR was it to make sure I'm his kid because "I'm too white to be his kid". There was a woman before us who had a kid and was white, and they didn't card at all with her at all.

The newly renovated PC is modern and clean (read: dark colors, cave-like).
There are NO hand baskets. Even if all you want is a couple of frozen things, you have to either carry them in your hands or get a mini-cart and maneuver that around. And all the carts are outside, so if you discover you need a cart you have to leave your items to go get one, instead of swiping a basket from a checkout lane.
The dairy has been moved and while the rest of the aisles feel roomier, it's hard to find things because you can't get far enough away to see more than what's right next to you.
The self-checkout is difficult to navigate. You cannot bag your groceries in your own bags without an override. The machine wants you to scan it, thinking you are trying to steal something. You cannot scan your card if it's on your phone, you need the attendant. And there are six registers, but it is somehow too few for the customers and too many for the attendants. You are better off using an actual person, who may actually help you bag.
It looks clean and modern, and the baked goods aren't hidden anymore, but it feels like they painted over a problematic structure.

Left on hold 3 different times for over 20 mins each time. Didn't have anything I was looking for. Shelves were bare an the front desk didn't have a clue if or when to expect anything to come in.
