Every three months my husband drive an hour to Rutland for a doctor's visit. It used to be a big deal to stop in for the friendly people and yummy food! It's been going down hill for a while.....but today's rudeness took the cake! Our snack was rancid. I hated to ask for a refund but I asked anyway. They...(there were two people involved) were not friendly or apologetic. It was such an uncomfortable experience that I will no longer give them the benefit of the doubt! The bathroom was gross too! It takes a lot for me to judge low with stars!

My boyfriend ordered a Clarenden sandwich, and he received a Ruben. When he went to let them know their mistake, he got an ATTITUDE for THEIR mistake??? Absolutely ridiculous. Yall are lucky because that type of mess up could have been bad if someone allergic to any part of the sandwich had taken a bite thinking it was ham and cheese. Must not be the original owners running the show anymore. They are nice people.

Super friendly staff, Excellent in store made sandwiches! If you are in Rutland looking for a place to eat, I would highly recommend Olivia’s. The the sandwich in picture is a Ruben!

I moved to the area in the spring and have been having mixed results finding a good place for a quick deli sandwich or breakfast sandwich that’s consistently good. I’m happy to say that Olivia’s has filled the void! So far I’ve tried a Turkey sub, Rutland’s Choice chicken salad sandwich, breakfast sandwiches, and a caramel crumb coffee cake, and all have been exceptional.

We have always stopped in Olivia's to pick up some food for my elderly mom. Mom wanted a cheesesteak sandwich so that's what we ordered. It was the worst Philly cheesesteak sandwich we ever had. Grizzly meat overcooked like rubber with no taste at all. We ordered 2 and got to our destination had a couple of bites and had to throw out. We called the store to let them know how disappointed we were and they asked me to call back before 10 am on Monday to speak with AJ the manager. I did call but naturally AJ was to busy to pick up the phone . Kathleen was the mediator told me she would get him my message. Hours latter still no AJ but Kathleen called me to tell me how sorry she was but there was nothing they could do. Really $22.00 for the worst sandwiches ,one would think they would of said come on up and pick up two sandwiches of your choice or just refund us the $22.00Olivia's is getting to big for their britches and people should wake up. Customer service is #1 and they have none.

The food at Olivia's is 10/10 some of the best food in town however, the service is terrible. The girl taking my order was rude as can be and another girl kept giving my son and I dirty looks as we ate. Not a comfortable environment.

Pretty young girls with lack of knowledge in business, cashiering and food. I like the older more knowledgeable people who work there who have knowledge of the whole business and provide excellent customer experience.

Really good place to go to in Rutland. I can make three meals out of their large subs and the other pre-made food that seems expensive actually isn't very costly when you get two meals out of it. I wish they still sold out of town newspapers though.

I stopped to return cans at a little before 4 in the afternoon and decided that I would order a sub from,the grill which I have tried to before figuring 4 in the afternoon would be early because I tried before at around 5 and grill was closed and guess what grill was closed again I simple said this was 3rd time out 4 attempt this has happened the pleasant little lady gave me an attitude and told to never come back and don't ever bring bottles back here again don't will never go in that store again

Make sure you count all bottles and cans before going. Rough looking guy only gave me the amount that went through the counter machine and kept the $40+ in glass. At the end he had to think about how much he was going to rip me off. Had a problem once before but it was a old guy who accidentally unplugged the register so I didn't get the $ for the glass then either but he didn't mean to. This guy today did it on purpose and asked before he started if I had counted them first so he knew he could rip me off. I collect cans on the side of the road and have friends and family save bottles and cans for me so I have gave them a lot of bossiness almost weekly and I won't be going to them again. This guy was so obvious about ripping me off.

Just shared the ginormous Chittenden turkey, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and cranberry mayo sub. Delicious! Only personalization I’d make is to have less mayo and more cranberry flavor to set off the mild turkey and cheddar flavors. A great value for the price ($9.99 plus tax).

Delicious bagels! The chittenden Sammy on everything bagel is to die for. I live out of state and always go back. The green mountain coffee is a great surprise too.
