We’ve been here multiple times for UTI treatment in our cats. It’s chronic for one of them at this point. Dr. Ray put them on the Hills Science Prescription urinary health diet and recommended us for the Hills To Home program… Multiple times. Tells us to speak to the receptionist about it. Every time she lies to our faces saying she’ll send the info over via email. We never get it. She’s so rude and unprofessional as well. Gaslights you when you call her out. Zero accountability for how she treats others. I guess it’s all about money in the end. They’d rather you buy directly from them so they see a profit. Even when Dr Rays exact words were, “there’s no use for a middleman, they can ship it right to you.” Alas without a written prescription, that’s impossible. Dr. Ray is lovely, but seemingly oblivious to the way the front desk is ran. Wouldn’t recommend based off of Marilyn’s lacking people skills and poor business ethics. A different vet may be pricier, but it’s probably worth it in the end if you respect yourself or your fur-babies.

As a former New Jersey State Certified, County-level Investigator for the Office of Consumer Affairs, having resolved amicably over 550 cases, I can aver that the receptionist, Marilyn, is the rudest and most obnoxious person I have ever encountered in a Customer Service position.
I pride myself in never arguing or raising my voice. But, dealing with this woman makes my blood boil. Because of this, I no longer take my dog to this facility.
On the other hand, I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Ray!! He is a prince when it comes to caring for his patients. Unfortunately, he chooses to stand by his wife, which makes me wonder if he’s oblivious to her rudeness.
As others have noted in their reviews, you are herewith forewarned of the unusual behavior you may encounter on the phone or at the front desk!

Brought my Dog here on Monday for some wounds from dog bits, but also had noticed my dog was not hooked up to IV so she could get the nutrition she needs, he had also gave me hope saying he really thinks she’s going to make it, my Dog passed away this morning, i really believe she could’ve made it if she she was properly treated, and he had not bothered to call me to tell me she passed away, i ended up calling there, there is more to this but the rest I’ll keep to myself..

This is by far the best vet in the area, they're soo very kind and and treat our fur babies great. My wife and I highly recommend this vet office for your fur babies.

It doesn't cost a fortune to care for your loved one. The doctor and receptionist (wife) are exceptional. I trust them with my life because without my pets my life would be awful lonely..

We were visiting Vermont from Colorado with my dog Noodles when I noticed that he had an issue with his foot. We tried to get him into other vets closer to where we were staying, but they were not very interested in seeing him, which I get. All vets are busy and have full caseloads with their regular clients. Dr. Knutsen got us in right away and took great care of my beloved elderly Yorkie. He performed surgery right away and extracted a huge thorn. I never even heard a whimper from my dog and he wasn't fully sedated! I was expecting a big bill- being that we are not regular clients and it was an emergency visit. Not only was the bill very reasonable, but it was well under what I would have paid for the same office visit at home. I enjoyed the office staff- they are "call it like they see it" people which I take as a sign of honesty and integrity. And Noodles fully recovered and enjoyed the rest of his stay in Vermont!

Completely unorganized. Disconnected from reality. It’s not their fault they can’t write numbers down or keep track of appointment times. Owner/manager doesn’t want to hear their faults. Just wants to make excuses for poor management

best vet in the area. they are always reasonable about timing and price. i trust dr ray to tell me the truth and provide the best care for my 8 fur babies. marylyn, the receptionist, is a sweetheart.

Gave me the information I needed but was I felt pretty rude like they don’t like to be on the phone which I presume is their job. I will not be going to the vet.
