Deceptive marketing for a vehicle that has considerable cosmetic and mechanical issues. I purchased a vehicle based on the website listing alone, having no ability to see it in person. Knowing this, a combined effort between Ben and Doug made no effort to represent the true condition of the vehicle I intended to purchase. Based on the number of other reviewers that have pointed out similar experiences with shoddy vehicle conditions, it seems that this is standard practice when they’re trying to sell a vehicle that has less than stellar condition. I’d probably try to avoid buying any vehicle from this business.*Update 11/2021*: The vehicle I purchased from Doug and Ben has had multiple unreported accidents that have left the frame of the car irreparably damaged and a severe safety risk to drive on the road. Ben had the audacity to claim their "mechanic" gave the car a "once-over" prior to selling it to me. The brazenly unscrupulous approach to selling vehicles is an outrageous red flag and I hope no one ever buys a car from these people.

Deceptive marking practices and unscrupulous salesmen; this dealership claims to have a technician inspect their vehicles prior to sale, however, despite this claim I now own a vehicle that will never pass inspection due to the number of safety issues it has, including a rusted and rotted out frame and frozen brakes. The underbody of the vehicle can be poked through with a finger, soft as bread. This place is an absolute scam and will take your money without hesitating to inform you about anything wrong with a car. I would not encourage any sensible human to come close to this "business"

Bought a truck here, which they just did an inspection on. On the way home check engine light came on. Took the truck into a reliable mechanic and found it had stored codes and shouldn’t have been able to pass inspection. Engine ended up having to be replaced, bad rear pads and rotors, and on and on needed over $9k in repairs to actually pass a real VT state inspection. Carey’s is selling junk yard vehicles.

Inquired online about a vehicle on 8/9 afterhours. Finally received a response (no one answers office phone) on 8/12. I stated I wanted the vehicle, and applied through their portal. Due to the age of the vehicle their bank said no (antique) so I received the VIN number to get financing locally, and told them I would get the ball rolling to get it done today (8/12). 2 hours later Earl sold the unit out from under me, without even offering to allow me to place a deposit to hold. Disrespectful and disappointing.

Recently purchased the 2012 Honda Accord five-speed standard that we knew needed a little bit of work. We changed the axles in it and now it's driving almost like new. Next will be the intermediate shaft and then I'm positive it will be smooth as silk. So far we are very happy with the purchase and confident this car will last for years to come. Thanks for the Honda.

I recently purchased a very cute chevy aveo 5 from Careys and they went above and beyond for me with this car!, Rate down to new screws for my license plate and taking care of another issue for absolutely free! I was not expecting that but I am truly grateful! I would definitely suggest getting your next used car here! I also have a new mechanic in Ira, and to be a woman and trust a mechanic can be a challenging thing! I'm so glad to know I have a place to bring my car for its care! I now know why they were voted best used car for 2020! Congrats on that!
