Stopped in with my boyfriend and what a nice experience. The woman who helped us, I believe her name was Melissa, was so helpful and sweet! What a great bank and employees.

Been a Berkshire patron for going on 6 years. Any problem I've had has been solved readily, and I've had very few. I'm fairly minimal tho, in my needs.

Website says it’s open, drove 30 minutes just to see that they’re closed when they’re supposed to be open.

I can not begin to express the absolutely horrible experience I had at this bank this morning. I am so angry, I am beyond words. First off, I want to say that the so called manager there, was the most unhelpful and horrible person I had ever come across in customer service, but I will get to that later. I think that if its not them, people dont care and that was her attitude.Unbelievable. Anyway, I used their ATM (I do not have an acct at BERKSHIRE) and I checked my balance before I used the ATM to make sure there was enough on my debit card. The transaction went through but at the very last minute the door that dispenses cash wouldnt open even though the screen said my 720 dollars was being dispensed. I checked my balance as well and the amount had been taken out. I was furious and I could do nothing about it. The number on the terminal, which was their number was disconnected so I had to wait 2 hours before the bank opened at 8. Meanwhile numerous people came through withdrawing money from the ATM with no problem whatsoever. At 730 the bank manager arrived and I told her what happened. She looked at my card after I explained what had happened and she told me that the ATM wasnt theirs and that it had to do with my bank card, not their faulty ATM. I asked her who the owner of the ATM was, if it wasnt BERKSHIRES and she told me , I cant tell you that. Not only did the bank take my money, all I had actually she offered me no explanation, no apoligies and no information on how to resolve the issue. She basically said, Not my problem and you are s*** out of luck, Oh well. I have never been so upset. This woman needs to be fired. I have never been treated like this ever, by a bank. It weas almost as if I was being punished for not having an account there. So now its going to take me over 2 months to file a dispute and therefore an investigation into this matter. Meanwhile, I cant pay my rent, buy groceries for the week or even put gas in my car. It was everything I had and it was like no big deal to her, what did she care? This attitude says alot about the type of people that live in this area. What an awful way to treat a person.
