This place has turned around completely under new ownership. It is cleaned and staffed regularly. New equipment keeps coming in, including a new Stairmaster and rowing machines. The owner took suggestions from members and actually implemented them!

Great gym. Nice squat / bench racks with quality bars. Would love a dedicated deadlift area, but I understand that space has to be used efficiently, and the foam mat does a fine job. I also wish the tricep dip machine was a lever type rather than a pulley type, but that’s very minor. Definitely recommend overall

Went in for 7 day trial to see if I wanted to become a member. I was not offered a tour, staff didn’t introduce themselves, and gym bros who seemed to be there for their jaw muscles made sure that plyometric boxes were unavailable for use, holding their laptops and equipment. When I asked staff for help finding things their assistance was very minimal, with preference to vague gestures over using their words, and weren’t busy with other things. They give their mop bucket a HEAVY pour of pine sol on my last visit there, giving me a headache so I moved to a different area. They went to that area and stunk it up with the chemicals again. The biggest red flag was when I finally got around to asking for prices-they went over their prices THEN PULLED OUT THEIR COMPETITORS PRICES!!!!!Not even kidding, top right drawer. When I said I didn’t want to know the prices of any place other than the gym I was in, I was told that this is their competition so if I was looking at joining a gym, I’d need to know anyways. I mentioned that the Rutland community rec center is $12 a month, they went on to point at the new tv that just came in and their stairmaster-which come from member fees-not the monthly fee, or the sign on fee, or the cancellation fee-all of which are real things they charge for-it comes from ANOTHER fee added in April and October. I asked about promotions, they said they don’t have promotions any time of the year.I’ve worked for this franchise before, and I know what fees are set by the franchisee-and Rutland, people visiting Rutland, I’m telling you right now they are SCREWING people over. They don’t even have classes. Their idea for classes is to have people rotate on machines.Just like planet fitness that’s $10 A MONTH! (I hear they’re opening in a couple weeks)I also called the business that they were throwing under the bus-their fees are actually LESS than what anytime offered, and there’s no cancellation fee.I’ll be checking out the competitor’s gym that this place was bad mouthing. Suggestion to staff-maybe focus on YOUR value instead of minimizing the value of others. Also-you’re out of soap in one of the bathrooms.2 stars because they had a GHD, Thompson Fat Pad & clean mirrors

I love this gym, been going for years, Dion is amazing, he always welcomes you with a friendly hello and goodbye. He doesn’t hesitate to help with whatever equipment or workout you may be struggling with. Dion gives it such an amazing vibe and a fun place to work out. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t know if I would stay here. What an amazing asset to this business!!!

This is by far the best gym I have ever been to.They make you feel welcome and are so positive and helpful. The owner Aaron is absolutely wonderful. He will help you work on areas you'd like to improve, help make suggestions, and show you how the machines work. I swear he is there 24/7 and is super responsive. I cannot say better things about this gym.Go to anytime fitness in Rutland, VT you will not regret it.

New management has been an amazing asset to this facility. Dion and Aaron and the rest of the staff have made Anytime a welcoming community for all. Machines and bathrooms are always spotless. Great amenities like the Hydro Massage Chair and the eVolt Body Scanner. Thanks for turning this place around and for continuing to support my fitness journey.

Best gym in Rutland! This place exceeded my expectations by so much. Aaron (the new owner) is creating a real community there, and clearly really cares about his people. It's so inspiring to see someone take such initiative with a franchise and give it the personal touch of a mom & pop business. Great vibes, great amenities, great community. Total hidden gem.

Aaron the new owner is amazing! The first day he took over the gym he changed out and repaired all the equipment that had been neglected by the old owner! Before you could never get ahold of anyone to answer any questions or concerns now every time I go there is a staff member or Aaron himself! He’s prior service and one of the best people we’ve meet since moving here to Rutland! He’s doing a damn good job cleaning up the mess he walked into and really turned things around! No bad things to say! Very clean too!

Returned to the gym after Covid restrictions eased up and the improvements are great! Regular business hours are staffed and the staff are engaging and involved with the clientele. It’s been very nice being back.

I'd give less than 1 if I could! My son visited from TX, needed a gym so we went here. No desk, no greeter so my son walked in and a guy comes out of an office and starts telling him he could hit him w a 250 buck fine for trespassing . WTF! First and last time we will bother going there. Crappy person, crappy equipment that was missing parts and ripped up. Steer clear

I decided to check this place out and although the man at the desk was nice I felt the whole thing was too laid back. When I asked if someone shows me how to use the machine he simply said 'no, just follow the diagram on the machine and you'll be fine'.. I'm new to working out and I don't want to get hurt. There was no liability waiver to sign. I didn't feel comfortable. However, the machines looked like they were pretty new and taken care of.
