Amerigas that now runs Young's Propane has terrible phone service. Last call never addressed issue, just went into a survey. Their pre-buy is above the average price and they charge a penalty for paying with a credit card.

The local Amerigas office always did super service then a few years ago all local dealers became controlled by corporate, long story short, when local offices lost control all customer service wentout the door, try to call their phone number for service nowadays what you get is mostly an automated answering service taking way too long to go through the calling reason menu, then about 10 minutes later once your successful talking to a live person you get a person with very bad speaking any understandable English, being transferred at least 4 times all with the unintelligible English and having to go through the whole reason your calling. This last time it took me 4 separate calls over three days to order another delivery, do I need to say anymore? Next call is to a new local supplier that’s going to stay local.

I wish you folks didn’t close the Rutland office but Mary (wish I had her last name) has been wonderful in getting all my propane needs taken care of. To be honest she’s the reason why haven’t changed propane companies.JSK

Repeated leaks on tanks, 3x the propane usage vs 100pd cylinders, invoices don't show prices, house is 1100sq ft and costs 5k+ per year with amerigas vs 2.9k via 100pd cylinders, just started becoming accurate after smart meter but 0 efforts to fix the inaccurate billing gallonage prior. Ran out immediately after gaining service (whole house froze). I joined this contract as a tradesman (master plumber, gas(f), oil(silver), epa-608 universal and was recommending consistently even with unfair bills until I got a local representative who said I've had these tanks since I moved in(previous on site tanks were another supplier (suburban) so I found they've altered my billing to suit their billing desires. I no longer can recommend this experience.

No delivery as scheduled - waited 2 weeks during which time we had a power outage - no heat during minus 6 degree temps. Then promised gas after 2 weeks on Christmas Eve at 6pm. Again no delivery. Finally delivered Christmas Day. Thank you to the driver. She said trucks were in our neighborhood the day prior but didn’t come. Again, thank you to the driver who came Christmas afternoon - it wouldn’t have been necessary had your company done their job. Happy New Year.
