They've been nothing but pleasant and dependable for our first year in our house. We just had our annual furnace service and our technician, Chris, was a super nice guy and had previously serviced our furnace and installed our water heater so as a newer homeowner it was nice to know he was so familiar with our heating system. Thanks guys!January 2024 Update: Had to replace the igniter on our furnace after waking up with no heat. They called back quickly, service technician Micky was there within two hours, and job was completed within an hour. Once again very friendly and greatly appreciated!

Be careful when the tell you something will be free. They charged us $180 for a "free" tank swap then locked out are tank before we even had chance to pay them making so we couldn't use are stove. Even though everything worked beforehand.

Most of their employees in the field have always been kind, helpful, and courteous. Office staff, especially the family management, is an entirely different story. They offer robotic yet still somehow rude responses to almost any inquiry.The latest example is when a delivery driver refused to wave or beep to our 2 year old twins who were outside ecstatic to see a large truck at their house. Apparently he was frustrated because our tank has an enclosure which he thought wouldn't allow for ample venting out the bottom. The same exact tank and enclosure that Patterson has been exclusively filling for the past five years.I received a short email from Alex stating that we would not be able to receive deliveries from them without changing the enclosure. I responded with photos to show him the enclosure and ask what had changed. He replied with a one sentence email repeating that we would not be able to take deliveries until changes were made. I emailed back saying that I was not trying to argue, asking what had changed on their end as nothing had on our end.He emailed back another single sentence saying a tech would be out the following week to assess. I met the tech when he visited, and per usual had a nice conversation with a decent and kind person. He saw no issue with the tank enclosure and apologized for what was likely a new delivery driver acting like robocop.The next day Alex sent me another single sentence email confirming what the tech and I had discussed.

Pattersons fuel was going to disconnect my gas stove 12/31/20 so I could receive my new stove on 1/2/2021.. the new stove can not be delivered if the old stove is NOT disconnected because the old stove is being taken away by the delivery guys. Well ********* called me on 12/30/20 at 2:30 PM to say they can not come 12/31/20 because they have a emergency fix they have to do. Now I have a $900 new stove that can not be delivered because they canceled an appointment I made in November. I have tree hours to find someone to disconnect my stove, that is not a reasonable cancellation and I am done doing business with them. . ... Read More

I wish there were more stars to give Patterson! A part on our furnace died leaving us with no hot water on Friday. I called Patterson and they sent someone over immediately. The part had the potential to take 10 days to arrive so we were looking at all that time with freezing cold showers! On Monday morning they found the part and sent the same wonderful guy over to install it and Voila! A warm shower felt like luxury. This company truly cares about the community and goes out of their way to show it.

These guys are not professional when they come to your house. Most service people wear booties over their work boots or bring tarps. These guys expect to march through your house in their messy dirty work boots even in the winter time with all the mud and snow. Find someone else to service your furnace.

We just bought a new house and this is what the contractor had set up with the house when we bought it. We decided to switch to another company because we could get a better price on fuel. They just decided to come take the tanks back without setting up a day with us. They claimed they had called my husband multiple times with no answer, they could have left a voicemail and he would have called them back. We have 2 small children and no heat because of them until tomorrow when the other company can come. When I asked them why they couldn't come tomorrow they said they were just doing what they were told and that I had to "call the office". The right thing to do would be to come back when we actually have other fuel tank setup so that we're not without fuel to heat our home!!!!
