Shaw's in Randolph is described as a solid, clean, and well-stocked grocery store, often considered the best or only option for the local community. The product selection is generally viewed as fine and varied, featuring a bakery, deli, butcher block, seafood, and produce department. Many employees are noted as friendly, helpful, and nice, with specific praise for management's efforts to open extra lanes during busy times. However, experiences vary significantly. A major point of criticism is pricing, with multiple reviews stating prices are higher than at other Shaw's locations, labeling it as price gouging that takes advantage of the store's location. Other noted drawbacks include long lines due to limited registers, the unpleasant practice of floor polishing during store hours, and a horrendous public bathroom. The produce section has received complaints about occasional mold and a lack of organic options. While most experiences are positive, customer service at checkout has been inconsistently reported, with one particularly negative encounter describing unprofessional and disgusting behavior from a staff member. Overall, it is seen as an accessible and necessary store for the town, despite its flaws.
Great produce selection as well as Oriental foods. A little disappointed in the curbside service bc even though I can go on the store and find what I want it seems they can never find what I want on my order

Only grocery store in town 🤷🏼♀️, prices are higher than other shaws around but driving 30 minutes to another store is more than I want to do sometimes

Price gouging is the game here. They take advantage of the location. Go elsewhere if you can. Inflation is too high right now for greedy shenanigans.
