This place prays on young, learning entrepreneurs. You’ll feel Cathy’s energy when you talk to her on the phone. Don’t ignore this bad energy she gives off, it’s your warning sign to run away! They charge you insane fees that they can only get away with charging to unknowing newbies to the co-packing space. In & out charges for pallets should be by the pallet, not by weight. So when you’re shipping heavy pallets here watch out, they charge you buy the lb and it will cost you upwards of $600 to bring in pallets for a production run. That should have cost you nothing at any other copacker. They tell you that you MUST have an individual HAACP for your process and it will be $3k-$5k for them to do it for you. When in reality, they are the ones that need the HAACP plan because they run products like yours all the time. All they do is add your business to their existing plan, not have you make a brand new one and pay them for it.I did my first production run at Freedom and knew it was a bad place but I felt I had no where else to go that was somewhat near home. Wish I would have listened to my gut. After running my product there and all of my recipes burning because Freedom knew it was the wrong process, but preyed on me and took my money anyway and had me run the batch. We had to throw every single item away.Thousands and thousands of dollars wasted at this facility. Through wrong processes and crooked thieving business practices.BE AWARE ENTREPRENEURS. This place is evil.
