This past Friday I employed their services after realizing the oil in my vehicle had dropped to a minimum level. My friends and I had planned a college reunion weekend in North Adams. I was driving from upstate NY along Rt. 2 when my vehicle’s computer registered low oil and that I needed a quart to replenish. Since I have a BMW I was nervous of where I would find the correct type of oil my SUV required. But when
I arrived in town, I noticed a Monro business. Knowing my dad has been a loyal customer for decades I stopped by to see if they could help! Not only did the wonderful staff soothe my jangled nerves they went out of their way to find the correct oil for my vehicle and replace it! Bill, Joe, Darcy and Mike are all angels! I can’t recommend them or Monro in North Adams, Massachusetts enough! They truly took a scared visitor and customer into their shop and hearts! And in addition, they charged me a very fair price for topping off my oil! Anyone needing auto care in North Adams can feel assured that they will be in competent and caring hands! This is a must go to business and one to remember - even if you’re just passing through town. They will take great care of you and treat you like family! The folks at Monro in North Adams helped me to have an amazing, worry free get together with my friends! Thanks dear Monro staff!”

“Kind and honest owners. Gene fixed my air conditioning problem and due to breaking off a small part on the coolant overflow tank did not charge me anything for the service. I returned a few days later to pay him at least an hourly fee but his wife gave me a big hug and again sent me on my way owing nothing. “Coming down the Taconic Trail the red triangle of death was on along with the engine light, and then the brakes came on automatically with it beeping. I think that was something Toyota must’ve put on for us to pull over, but we didn’t. My best friend Mary took us to these mechanics Kevin (owner) Ross & Andy and I tell you what they help me out and we are on our way the next day. Very professional very friendly you can’t go wrong. My experience was just fantastic! Thanks again I really really appreciate it.”

“After having my car repaired at Monro due to a broken spring which was not properly repaired. I explained the severity of the situation to Jess, John and Diane. They went well beyond what I expected to get the repairs done properly. I have been a mechanic/store manager for several years and due to my medical situation, I was unable to do the repairs. They have restored my trust, and I found the only place I will bring my vehicles in the future. I can go on and on about the respect I have for this business. “I had my 2015 Subaru Outback's sparkplugs quoted at $400 at the Bennington Subaru dealership, so I went to Earl's and was quoted $150 (I already had the plugs too!). I dropped my car off the day before my appointment and they called me when it was ready the next day. Similarly, I had my rear brakes and rotors replaced for $178. I'm sure the dealership would have been overpriced again. Great service at a great value.”
“Unmatched service!! My family was camping nearby and our pop-up blew a tire. After calling ahead we pulled in and 3 guys immediately got to work replacing all the tires for us. Never even unhitched the camper. Very friendly, good work, honesty and good old fashioned service. It doesn't get any better than that!”
“My wife and I were traveling from New Hampshire to Arkansas pulling our travel trailer over Labor Day weekend. On Sunday coming through the mountains we had a coolant hose come off our engine leaving us stranded near Bennington. We had our vehicle towed to Oliver Ford. They were closed on Monday because if the holiday, on Tuesday I was there when they opened at 7:30 and explained what was going on to Ed the service manager. He had his technician Jon immediately pull it into the bay and do an assessment of my vehicle. By 8am Ed explained what was going on, located the part at a local dealership because they didn't have one in stock and someone on the way to pick it up. He kept me informed throughout the progress. By 11am they had my vehicle done and I was able to get back on the road.
I really appreciate them going out of their way and their promptness. Customer service at it's finest.”
