Mel was able to get us in same day at a time that was convenient for us. She cut my stepdaughter and son’s hair and did an amazing job!! They both love their new “looks”! Thanks again Mel!

Mels Place Hair Salon is absolutely amazing. She is so sweet and does amazing work. Whether your coming in for a girls day and need your nails done or need a totally new dew, go see her. I highly recommend, she never has a customer leaving disappointed or unhappy and Is always so cooperative on scheduling or rescheduling. Nothing less than perfect!!

She didn't listen to a word I said. All I wanted was a quick cut and I wanted her to use the buzzer but nooooooo that was too easy. I walked out of there feeling very unsatisfied and my hair was all choppy and uneven. Waste of money.

I looked this morning online to view the hours hoping if I got in early, I could be in and out, all I wanted was a simple brow wax, nothing crazy. Online it said 9; I get there about 930 a.m. and the hours on the door say 9am to 8pm so I was discouraged to find the door was still locked and there was no one inside. I called thinking maybe someone was in the back and maybe forgot to open the door but no one answered. I will not be returning.

The two ladies who work here are very nice and welcoming and the salon is cute and inviting. However they had no clue what they were doing. They had a poor selection of colors and were extremely disorganized. I went with two other people and it took the two ladies 2 hours to do two gels manicures and one set of tips. They barely filed our nails, did our cuticles and were about to put polish on our nails without cleaning them first. They couldn't paint within the lines and left messy edges that could have been avoided.
