Our time at Good Commons was so special! We thoroughly enjoyed the warm and welcoming comforts of the house; the fun and interactive yoga classes; the deeply soothing massages; and the amazing food! Our retreat far exceeded anything we could have imagined.
Also, Mary, made everything so easy for us! We’re already trying to figure out how and when we can return!

The most magical place ever. I visited for a yoga retreat and will absolutely be going back. Tesha, the owner, is such a gem and her cooking is just exquisite. The whole space is cozy, comfortable and designed with thoughtful care and intention (+ a hot tub to boot!). Thank you, Good Commons!

I have retreated at Good Commons three separate times 2021-2023, and it feels like home- elevated! The rooms are quiet and comfortable. I love the large, comfortable areas for groups to gather. The local, farm-to-table cuisine is phenomenal. I can't recommend it enough. Don't hesitate, book now!

The most amazing place for a getaway! I went to Good Commons for a Yoga retreat / teacher training and the hospitality was fantastic. This cute retreat center accommodates large groups, has a hot tub, is near hiking, and looks beautiful with a bit of snow. The owner Tesha makes everyone feel at home and her cooking is out of this world. 10/10 recommend to anyone planning to go to Vermont.

If I had to use one word to describe this place it would be: oasis. Teesha and her team go above and beyond making not only the most delectable food, but the house itself is warm and welcoming. They spill the team on where all the secret spots around town are for good hikes, cheese shopping, or anything else you are interested in. If you are looking to host or attend an event, don't hesitate - book now, its truly a wonderful experience.

This was one of the best spots to make memories, to ground and to connect and learn. Sustenance for the soul. Tesha and her team are amazing

For the past several years, I have throughly enjoyed Good Commons. When I walk through the doors of the near 100+ years it feels like a warm hug. For being such an old building it is well maintained and a hideaway. Nestled in the Green Mountains it is located equal distant from Okemo and Killington! Can sleep a group with super cozy beds!! 5 stars!!

This review is a bit different bc it has nothing to do with an official retreat, but my experience was so great I felt I needed to review somewhere. This weekend my husband and I stayed at the barn apt that is associated with Good Commons. We initially tried going through a popular booking site but had issues so we took it into our own hands.

I have having major Good Commons withdrawal. I arrived Thur. evening for a weekend yoga retreat. The vibe was casual Vermont chill. The setting was inviting and serene. Food service commence and the flavors, plating and offerings were tantalizing, creative and sumptuous. The public areas are conducive for meetings and gatherings. The sleeping areas are close quarters in some rooms and spacious in others. Bedding is incredibly comfy, assuring a good night's rest. There are plenty of bathrooms and are fully stocked with Flourish Apothecaries. Jenny, the house lab is in the house (if you have allergies, she can stay home) providing love and hugs. The hot tub outside is a wonderful spot to relax and recharge. Tesha and Marissa treated us like family. They went the extra mile, insuring the weekend flowed. The yoga room was inviting and serene. I seriously miss GC and will be back.
