445 Rte 5 N, NorwichI am ETERNALLY GRATEFUL for River Road Vet! On Thursday morning my 3 year old wolfhound was not herself. My vet of many years could not fit us in (my personal vet is also fantastic I understand how many vets are overworked in the area) I called 3 other veterinarian offices , all were full and so sorry that they couldn't get us in. And then I called River Road, they told me to bring her in , after x-rays we saw rhw blockage and they had her in surgery within 30 mins, they are the only reason why I still have my girl by my side now . The quality of care is top notch! Aoife would certainly have died with out surgery ,

325 Main St, Norwichshould be a 4.5, hotel is great, old, good staff, clean, awesome location, next to a country store where you can buy everything AND the kitchen sink, including the exceptional Heady Topper beer that hotel staff gladly stored cold for me (no fridges in rooms), but I recommend skipping the very basic $15 pp continental breakfast that is not included (most other hotels include these days for these rates) to go to Hanover options or King Arthur bakery (short drive away) for better food and similar prices. I would come back and stay, but $15 for breakfast is out of whack.

325 Main St, NorwichThe food was delicious. There was some confusion about being able to sit outside with our dog. It turned out that dogs are not allowed on the patio, but there is a take-out spot where you can sit outside with your dog.
