I just called what I thought was the local office as was told to me on their site that I googled of Madagascar. The guy that answered and started asking questions is from India. He's in India right now.

Driver was not informed he should NOT drive down driveway, but deliver from top of drive. He drove down, got stuck, messed up the driveway and took out a small tree in the process.

Summary: They stopped delivering gas in the middle of winter without reason.We use propane as our primary heat source, which is critical in northern Vermont. Amerigas (specifically Blue Flame of Newport, VT) delivered without issue for the first few years. Despite signing up for email updates, they never once informed us of their delivery times, but we didn't mind as long as they filled the tanks. Nothing about our driveway or tank access changed this winter, yet they stopped delivering without warning. When the tanks were nearly empty in January, we had to call customer service for a fill-up. Now we're in March and empty again. We've tried calling three times, but it is still empty a week later. We still haven't received ANY communication from the local office as to why they stopped delivering. Amerigas (and Blue Flame of Newport) is the worst propane company we've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Call Fred’s or Suburban.

I would have given five stars but the Wi-Fi sensor. My tank has not been addressed and I have to keep track to myself and update the site to make sure I don't run out of propane. As far as delivery and price five stars.

Very helpful figuring out the past due amount I owed. The driver of my last propane delivery was very good at getting to my tank. A very personable, helpful gentleman.

I diden't have to do anything. My 500 gal tank was at about 35%, Amerigas came and filled it andthe next morning I had the invoice in my EMail. The price was almost the same as the last delivery,which was very nice. Now all I have to do is pay the bill which I can do on line. I do try to keep a pathshoveled to the tank in the winter. I used to deliver a lot of propane when I was younger so I knowwhat it was like to have to go through deep snow!

I have automatic fill up and in December 2023 when I checked my tank level was below 20%. I tried to contact Amerigas through emails and the numbers you provide on your website. When I called the number you provide on your website, a person would connect me to the Vermont site and the phone would ring and ring and ring, and ring. I tried to contact Amerigas several days in a row and nobody answered the phone. I also emailed Amerigas through your website and nobody answered me. I finally drove to the Amerigas office in Newport, Vermont, and a driver was filling his truck with propane and I was able to communicate to him that I was just about out of gas and I couldn't contact Amerigas. I don't understand why I couldn't contact anyone at Amerigas, and I don't understand why my tank wasn't filled when I have automatic fill up. I am nervous when my tank needs to be filled again if Amerigas will automatically fill it up......

Your business is absolutely TERRIBLE. You let my family go without propane for 11 days after we ran out due to your defective equipment, and that was only because my husband bought our own tanks and got rid of you because of your poor service. Thank GOD we don’t have you anymore!!
