November 2022 I bought a Subaru from these guys. When I bought it I mentioned it had a stutter and asked that the vehicle be checked out. I was told by Andrew there's nothing wrong with it. Over the next 6 months the stutter got worse and worse. Misfire codes started popping up, and the engine had almost no power. Checked the history and there were a BUNCH of codes that had been cleared prior to selling me the car. It's out of warranty at this point so nothing can be done.
Turns out the head gaskets and cylinder heads were shot and the vehicle needed a whole new engine, which I just spent $3000 to have done.
I'd love to get part of my money back for being mislead by these guys by intentionally hiding codes and lying about issues with the vehicle but it's surely a lost cause. LIARS.

I called Andrew with a problem several other mechanics in the area couldn't diagnose, let alone fix. He immediately knew the problem and gave me a thorough plan as to how to address it as well as replace some other items that needed attention (since the engine had to be accessed anyway)....this saved me money on labor and gave me a real sense that Junction Auto cared about not just fixing the thing I asked, but actually caring about the car. Andrew helped me with replacing a side mirror, noticed I needed an inspection, and helped me get my car back when I didn't have a ride. Talk about an all around excellent experience with great value, great service, and satisfaction!

Andrew squeezed me in for a brake service. He was respectful and knowledgeable. They did a great job on my car. I would definitely return and refer them to others.

It has been six months since I bought a car from Junction Auto. So far, I've had to put nearly $2500 into it for essential repairs with a mechanic who's good at saving money for his customers. Initially, I was persuaded that the mechanic who assessed the problems with the car was exaggerating, and while he did see things that turned out to be less major issues, other problems have surfaced that he didn't see. Junction Auto deliberately misled me on mechanical issues I pointed out, and failed to disclose many other issues they were most likely aware of. When asked to make it right, they did the minimum amount (45 minutes of immaterial labor) to protect themselves legally. They didn't even perform an oil change on the car before selling it though it was due. They sure did clean it up well though. Do not trust the reliability of the cars Junction Auto sells, and do not expect them to disclose accurate details about their cars' mechanical conditions.

I communicated primarily with Andrew at Junction Auto via email and although I had a lot of questions he was very responsive and worked with me to make sure that I got the car that I wanted. I would highly recommend Junction Auto.EDIT: Not sure why this happened and it's really unfortunate but after fixing a few items on the car I purchased (new windshield, fixed a bit of rust) I started getting the ol' run around from the guys at Junction Auto. From the day I bought the car there was a constant, high-pitched squealing noise that came from the air vents when the air was on. It was agreed that the blower motor would be replaced. At least twice I left my car for the entire day to have the blower motor replaced and each time was told it had been done. Each time I got back into the car afterwards and the squealing was immediately there. So I took the car to another shop and had them pull the blower motor out. Lo and behold, not only was the blower motor shot/old, there was a mouse nest in there! I couldn't believe it. So what the heck did I even leave my car there for?Naturally Andrew didn't respond to the email I sent inquiring about this discovery, so it's a lost cause at this point, but wanted to let others know rather than fix the small, stupid problem and be honest about it they might waste your time and give ya the run around...They also said they'd replace the driver's side window because the pads were bad and there was scratching/scoring all up the window (which is a hazard as I can't see clearly through it) but that never happened either because they "couldn't find a window" for me. (They had 3 months to find one) Suuuure...

They are amazing! Can't say enough good things. So kind, helpful, patient, willing to explain things to a non-car person. Didn't charge me for the initial go-over of the car that easily took them an hour. They loaned me a car for several days while mine got work done and did not charge me, made sure everything was working as it should before I got my car back, and came in $200 under the *lowest* quote they gave me (and thousands less than another place). They have my undying devotion now. My Subaru is in good hands.
