“Ride is such a lovely and supportive community. Everyone works hard and gets a great workout - guaranteed! - but there is no pressure or judgement. I have been going since they opened and no matter what shape I am in (pregnant, post partum, out of shape, in shape, training for a race etc) the instructors and classes meet me where I am at. Can't recommend them enough!”

“What a great grocery store. Very clean and nice wide aisles. Very well stocked. Lots of employees about picking online orders, restocking and straightening up. Excellent deli with lots of precut meats ready to go. Only in town for 5 days, staying at local campground. I was very impressed. Wish it was my local grocer.”

“Helpful staff. Great selection of most items. Meat and produce selection was lacking a bit, but The Butchery next store would've helped to solve if they were open.”

“Mac's Market is a family owned and local grocery store that sells fresh vegetables, beer, wine, meats, deli, and baked goods. My mother and I stopped in while walking in the downtown area. The store was very clean and you could tell that it was an older market, but the market still had many options to choose from. My mother spotted this Macaroni and Cheese with Sautéed Kielbasa and it very delicious. It was very creamy and was just decadent. My, my what great flavors. The store is a little expensive but store isn't. The customer service was great and the staff were pleasant.”

“To be fair, when I arrived it was only my first or second time ever being there I think I've been there twice but when I arrived most recently, there was only one guy working and he was also trying to stock shelves at the same time. So the place was in disarray but I would expect it that way. He was very friendly and very nice and we had a nice conversation. He just seemed unbelievably busy because he was trying to do two jobs

Is the complaints I have about the place are that some of the things they sell are way too pricey for a dollar store. And I know that's all Dollar Generals

Number two, and this may impact some people but not others, you are absolutely hit with the smell of very very strong heavy chemicals the moment you walk in the door. And I think that's because they keep their heavy chemicals sort of in the center aisle towards the back. I think maybe it would be less smelly if they put them along the very very back wall? I don't know? But it's unbelievably overwhelming. I did not stay long simply for that fact. It actually was making me sick.

Three, they just didn't have a very good variety of craft stuff. Which Maybe it's just not what they sell? I don't know.
And there just weren't a lot of options when it comes to things like kitchenware. And Beauty accessories for the hair. That was very very limited. And I mean extensively limited.

I think it has good deals on some items. Like toilet paper and paper towels and things like that. But when it comes to a lot of other things that I personally use, I just don't find anything useful in the store. I actually find a lot more at the regular dollar stores where everything is just a dollar.

On top of that, the shopping center that it's in, Northgate plaza, it's just very vacant. It's a little tiny bit nerve-wracking when you go there because you feel like you're almost in a ghetto strip mall. Because there's just nothing around you. So it's just not very populated and you just kind of get a really uneasy feeling. Maybe that's just me?

The reason I gave it a four-star is because it is what it is. It's a dollar general. And most people who shop at Dollar Generals know what they're getting themselves into. I really was not aware of what was in there and I expected way better deals and I guess I just expected everything to be a lot less expensive because I'm on a massive budget.

And the man that was working there was very friendly and very kind and very sociable and he really was working hard. So basically the four stars are for him. And the minus one star is just for everything else.”

“Any store open until 10pm in a small town is a winner in my book. They have organic produce and vegan items. The back of the store kind of had a bad smell. But we were so thankful a store was open and had items we actually wanted to buy.”
