The people who work at Yankee Liquor in Montpelier, VT are rude and nasty. They obviously hate their jobs! Do not go there if an alternative is available.

Basic dumbass hipster wanna be cashiers who think they have expertise or acumen, are actually total douchebags. This is by far the worst shitty liquor store I have ever had the unfortunate experience to encounter. The incels that work the counter are deplorable, and nowhere qualified to have any attitude--they are glorified grocery clerks at best. I hope this place burns down. If I ever see one of their clerks---although they are not really memorable except for their shitty entitled yet undeserved attitude--I would happily mock them all the way home. F*** THIS PLACE.

I love this little store! The staff have always been helpful. Even offering other choices when my usual was out of stock. I also like the calmness of the store and staff.

If there is anywhere else to get liquor I highly recommend going there! The people who work there are extremely rude and unprofessional. Save your money and time and go to Anywhere else!

Nice selection of wine & liquor for sure. Was there on Wednesday and was greeted with a hey and was asked if I needed any help finding anything the clerk would be happy to help. Was a lovely warm environment and after paying the cashier thanked me and said have a good one.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The rudest, vulgar staff I've ever seen in Vermont. Vermont's mask mandate has been ended for some time now but when I walked into this store I was yelled at to wear a mask, so I went to the counter to get one. They don't have any. I asked why and was told they were not required to have masks even if they were requiring masks to be worn in the store. I was told to go get a mask and when I stated I did not have one, was told to "get the f*** out of the store", and that "this s*** has been going on for 2 years". When I said that Vermont got rid of their mask mandate a long time ago I was told "not Montpelier." Come to find out, Montpelier did not have a mask mandate until Dec. 8, 2021. So a new rule passed a little over a month ago, that I was unaware of, was met with vulgar, hostility, and overall rudeness. Teach your employees some manners. The majority of this state does not require masks. I'm sure they don't care, but I will not be returning to this store when I am shopping in the area.

Huge selection of craft beers and ciders, many brewed in Vermont. Good selection of affordable and delicious wines. Helpful staff, nice atmosphere.

Everyone working there has been really good to me, unfortunately I can't stop there anymore because of personal health issues. But I just wanted to say that everyone there was really respectful and responsible during this quarantine business.
