Had a slow leak on 89, managed to make it to this shop. They fixed it quickly and at a reasonable cost and I was back on my way.

I am from out of town and needed to have my oil changed. I called three places that came up on google maps near me.
1 in South Barre, closed at 5 pm and it was 15:50 pm. They could not accommodate me as an add on customer at that time of day.
2. A place in Barre that closed at 16:00 pm.
3. I called Vermont Tire & Service - Montpelier
I asked if they were able to take me on as a walk-in for an oil change around 4:15 PM, they closed at five. The answer was absolutely come on, in.
Mike at the desk treated with kindness and the other gentleman were busy helping other folks.
Service was fast, price of service was phenomenal and the staff were exceptional.

Had tires mounted here that were off the vehicle. They had me leave the wheels outside in front of the shop until they got to them, which I wasn't a fan of. Cannot complain about anything else, though.

Went for car inspection. They failed it and said my rotor had some rust on it. Mind you these brakes and rotors were less than a year old. Took it to my mechanic and he cleaned them up and was shocked that they didn’t pass it. Went back to VT tire for the 2nd inspection attempt and they failed it now saying there was play in my tie rods. I then took my car to a different inspection place near by and showed them the papers I received from VT Tire’s inspections and wanted a second opinion. They expected my car and it passed with flying colors! Nothing was wrong with my tie rods! Such a scam!

I used to go to K&W until they closed. I just got a good deal on new snow tires at Vermont Tire. Service here is very good. Car inspection was quick, only $50. They are flexible making appointments. From now on Vermont Tire will be getting my business.
