I came to Family Dollar @ 9:35pm on 6/15/24 to buy cigarettes as well as a few other things and got told that since they were planning on closing soon ( which they don’t close till 10:00pm) that they don’t want to sell the cigarettes anymore tonight! So basically because they decided they wanted to start doing their close up count before they should be, they decided they didn’t want to do a recount and wanted to make their lives easier! This isn’t the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time I have had to deal with this specific issue with this location! No other store I’ve ever gone to has ever said this to me not only that but no other Family Dollars have ever done this to me! Seems as though this location needs to be retrained and the workers need to tighten up on their jobs! I decided to leave everything behind and go to an entire different location to buy everything I was going to get! Which will I will be doing from now on!
EDITED TO ADD: They also closed the store early at 9:50pm when they should be open until 10:00pm! Reason why I seen this is because I sat in the parking lot writing this and talking to my son about how not to be an irresponsible worker if you ever work for someone else’s company or business! It’s called stealing company time and being completely irresponsible and just selfish!

Never had a problem with any of the staff. The manager is always friendly and willing to help anyone. The store is very clean and organized.

A magical place of discovery and discounts! I highly recommend stopping here first if you need random things for your house, odds are they have what you are looking for! The staff was helpful and very nice as well!

As soon as I entered the cashier was talking loudly on her (Michelle) phone while there was a customer right in front of her. Very disappointing to see a 20 something year old behaving so poorly. As I was at check out she continued to text on her phone...
